Join now >Adrian Peterson (neck) didn’t practice today.
All Day would probably like to play, but it sounds like there’s pessimism regarding his Week 14 status. It’s worth noting the Cardinals are 5-7 and probably not going to make the playoffs, but, again, Peterson would probably want to play if he’s close to full health.

Ameer Abdullah (neck) is listed as questionable for Week 14.
Abdullah, who missed last week’s game, was able to practice every day this week, albeit on a limited basis. Consider him a true game-time call, but he offers a very low floor as a FLEX option if he is active for the game.

Rishard Matthews (groin) was limited in practice today.
Matthews has missed the last two games while dealing with his groin injury, but a limited practice to start the week is a good sign for his status for Week 14 against the Cardinals. We’ll keep an eye on his status tomorrow and Friday.

Matthew Stafford (hand) is officially questionable for Week 14.
Stafford was limited in practice all week, and head coach Jim Caldwell has indicated that Stafford is no lock to play on Sunday. However, we fully expect Stafford to be out there, and he’s a good be to be fighting hard to be out there with his playoff-contending team. The Lions play at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, so we’ll know by 11:30 AM ET if Stafford is active or not.

Matthew Stafford (hand) was limited in practice today.
Lions head coach Jim Caldwell said Stafford’s status for this week wasn’t certain, but a limited practice is probably a good sign. Of course, it’s possible Stafford was limited and had trouble throwing the ball during his reps, but we’ll get more clarity over the next couple of days.

Zach Ertz is still in concussion protocol.
This is a bit of a weird situation here, as yesterday the Eagles tweeted that Ertz had cleared concussion protocol. However, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is now saying that Ertz that he’s still in protocol and was limited in practice today. Maybe Pederson is unaware of his tight end clearing the protocol, or maybe the team’s Twitter got ahead of themselves—we really don’t know. For now, consider Ertz a game-time decision for Sunday.

Doug Martin (concussion) practices fully.
Martin appears to be out of concussion protocol, which is a great sign for both him personally and for the team. Peyton Barber performed very well and rushed for over 100 yards in Martin’s one-game absence, so it’s possible the former All-Pro doesn’t return as the clear leader in the backfield this week. Consider him a FLEX option with risk against the Lions.
