Smith-Schuster gained only 17 yards on his four receptions (five targets) against the Bengals, but he did work as a very good blocker down the field on running plays and after receptions by other receivers. However, one block was not good at all, as he had a crack-back block to the head area of Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict before standing over him. Smith-Schuster’s hit had Burfict sent off on a stretcher, though he thankfully doesn’t appear to be hurt too bad. The rookie receiver is getting a fine at the very least, and it’s possible a suspension is coming from the hit and taunt. We should get clarity on Smith-Schuster’s punishment on Tuesday.

Julio Jones nears 100 yards in Week 14 victory.
Jones was targeted 11 times against the Saints, catching five passes for 98 yards, including a long of 38 yards. He was targeted on a pass to the end zone, but Matt Ryan underthrew it and didn’t give Jones much of a chance to go up and make a play. The All-Pro receiver looked like the beast of a player he is, as he might make a 98-yard performance look as easy as anyone can. Jones had to contend with impressive rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore for much of the night, but he won his fair share of battles while helping Atlanta to a big win. Jones will be an elite WR1 against the Bucs in Week 15.

Martavis Bryant gets six targets against the Bengals.
Bryant continues to get a good amount of playing time since his Week 8 deactivation because of his attitude. He caught four passes for 40 yards in tonight’s win, and he also had a kick return touchdown called back on an iffy holding call by the officials. Bryant isn’t a highly-reccomended fantasy option at the moment, despite his great ability.
12/5/17 - 01:14 AM ET
Taylor Gabriel gets two touches against the Saints.
Gabriel had one carry for nine yards and one reception (on one target) for ten yards. He also was face masked on the ten-yard carry, which of course added another 15 yards for the Falcons. Gabriel isn’t making as many big plays down the field this season as last season, and he’s not a recommended fantasy option right now.

Antonio Brown scores versus Cincinnati.
Brown was a target monster in tonight’s Week 13 win, catching eight of 15 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown. Entering the game battling a toe injury, AB did appear hobbled at the start of the game, but you couldn’t notice Brown was having any issues by game’s end. The touchdown was on a slant route in the end zone late in the fourth quarter, and he was drilled with a helmet-to-helmet hit but thankfully was fine. Brown nearly had a touchdown earlier in the game, too, but Bengals cornerback Williams Jackson made an excellent play of poking the ball out in the end zone, not allowing Brown to finish the process of the catch. You’re obviously keeping Brown locked into fantasy lineups for the first week of the fantasy playoffs next week.
12/5/17 - 01:12 AM ET
Devonta Freeman scores in Falcons’ Thursday night win.
Freeman didn’t catch any passes against the Saints, but he received a season-high in carries, carrying 24 times for 91 yards and a touchdown. The score was on a one-yard carry to the left side, as Freeman basically walked into the end zone. As usual, Freeman hit holes hard and angry, and he should keep it going in Week 15 against Tampa Bay. Keep him locked into fantasy lineups.
12/8/17 - 01:03 AM ET
James Conner gets three carries against the Bengals.
Conner received a few consecutive plays to himself in relief of Le’Veon Bell, and he picked up 12 yards on his three attempts, including a ten-yard run where he lowered his shoulder for a first down. The rookie is a very good running back, but he’s not a fantasy option behind Le’Veon Bell right now.
