Ryan was 15/27 for 221 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in the close three-point Thursday night win. The stats don’t look great, but Ryan played better than they indicate. The one interception looked like it could’ve been a holding call against rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who intercepted it at the end of the first half. Then to open the second half, Ryan had a pass go right off tight end Austin Hooper’s hands and into linebacker Chris Banjo’s arms. But the final interception was definitely on Ryan, on a pass to the end zone to Julio Jones that was simply thrown too low and didn’t give Jones a great chance to go up for the ball. Clearly, this was less than ideal for fantasy owners in the first week of the fantasy playoffs, and that’s just how some of these Thursday games have historically and unpredictably gone. Ryan will be a QB1 option against Tampa Bay in Week 15.

Le’Veon Bell goes off in Steelers’ Monday night win.
Bell had yet another excellent game for the Steelers, and he scored for what was actually the first time since Week 8. Bell had 18 carries for 76 yards and five receptions (on six targets) for a team-high 106 yards and a touchdown in the win. The score came on a pass in the flat that Bell took up the sideline and past Bengals cornerback William Jackson, who appeared to think Bell was headed out of bounds, for 35 yards. Bell had 35 carries for 144 yards and two touchdowns in his first matchup against his next opponent, the Ravens, and you should feel confident putting him in your fantasy lineup (as always).

Willie Snead catches one pass in Week 14.
Snead’s lone reception went for no yards. Despite talk of getting him more involved down the stretch, it certainly has not happened yet. Snead doesn’t need to be on fantasy rosters right now, even in deeper leagues.

Ben Roethlisberger throws two touchdowns as Steelers improve to 10-2.
The Bengals jumped ahead to an early 10-0 lead and led for most of the night over the Steelers, but Roethlisberger led his team to 13 fourth-quarter points, including setting them up for another game-winning field goal by Chris Boswell as time expired. Overall, Big Ben was 24/40 for 290 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception—and he even kept the ball on a zone read where he picked up four yards. Roethlisberger’s first touchdown was to Le’Veon Bell on a pass to the flat that was taken up the sideline and through a non-tackle for 35 yards. And the second was on a bullet throw on a slant route to Antonio Brown in the end zone. The Steelers face a very stingy Ravens defense next Sunday night, so there’s some risk inserting Roethlsiberger into fantasy lineups for Week 14.

Joe Mixon has been ruled out with a concussion.
Mixon, who also suffered a shoulder injury when he was hit in the second quarter, is now in concussion protocol and will have six days to get cleared for Week 14. Mixon had seven carries for 34 yards and one reception for eight yards before leaving the game against Pittsburgh. Hopefully Mixon is feeling OK soon, but Giovani Bernard should get a heavy workload in the backfield for as long as Mixon is out of the lineup.

Joe Mixon leaves game to get evaluated for a possible concussion.
Mixon took a big hit when he was sandwiched between a couple of defenders in the second quarter against the Steelers. He dropped the ball as he was going to the ground and looked a little dazed after the play, and he just went into the medical tent. It’s possible the talented rookie is done for the night if he’s inserted into concussion protocol. Giovani will handle most of the backfield work while Mixon is out of the game.

Antonio Brown (toe) is active tonight against the Bengals.
Brown was just testing his toe in pregame and didn’t look 100%, but he told ESPN’s Lisa Salters that he’s giving it a go versus Cincinnati. We’ll update you if Brown happens to be inactive when the actives/inactives are released in just under ten minutes, but we would expect Brown is telling the truth when he says he’s going to play. AB is simply too good of a player to keep out of lineups if he’s in the game, so you can keep him in your lineup as your WR1.
