Join now >Elijhaa Penny scores first career touchdown in Week 13 loss.
Penny rushed twice for four yards, including a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter. The second-year back got the opportunity with Adrian Peterson (neck) out, and he should handle the short-yardage work if AD misses another game. Still, he probably won’t have fantasy value down the stretch.

Rhett Ellison catches one pass versus the Raiders.
Ellison gained five yards on his lone reception, and he’s not a recommended fantasy option, as his role isn’t big enough right now.

Roger Lewis catches one pass against Oakland.
Lewis’ lone reception went for nine yards. He’ll make some plays for his team in real life, but it’s difficult to trust Lewis in fantasy lineups at the moment.

Tavarres King gets nine targets in Week 13.
King’s nine targets were a team-high, but he had only 23 yards on his four receptions. Perhaps Geno Smith likes looking King’s way, but he’s still not a recommended fantasy option in Week 14 against the Cowboys.

D.J. Foster handles four touches in Week 13 loss.
Foster rushed twice for five yards and caught two passes for 20 yards. The second-year back would only be a FLEX option in deeper PPR leagues for the fantasy playoffs, so he can stay on the waiver wire in most formats.

Sterling Shepard gets six targets in Week 13.
Shepard caught three passes for 56 yards, including a long of 47 yards, versus the Raiders. While it wasn’t an outstanding game, it was great to see Shepard back out on the field after he dealt with head injuries over the last couple of weeks. He’s in the FLEX conversation for next week against Dallas.

Evan Engram scores in Week 13.
Engram had been struggling over the last two games, but he really got going in this one against an Oakland team that’s vulnerable against tight ends. The rookie had seven receptions (on eight targets) for 99 yards and a touchdown, with the score coming toward the back of the end zone on a dime from Geno Smith. It might be tough for Engram next week if Cowboys safety Byron Jones is matched up on him in man coverage, but he’s still a TE1 option.
