Join now >The Bears signed Damiere Byrd.
It took a while for Byrd to find a home despite coming off a career-best 47/604/1 season for the Patriots, but he finds a nice spot after the draft. Expect Byrd to compete with Marquise Goodwin for the primary deep threat role in Chicago, but the speedster showed he can be an all-around received last year in New England.

Josh Hill is retiring from the NFL.
Hill signed with the Lions earlier this offseason, but he’s now opting to call it a career instead. This means that Hill will have spent his entire eight-year career with the Saints, which is quite the accomplishment after he was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Hill’s career ends with 116 receptions for 1,071 yards and 15 touchdowns. After a solid NFL career as an undrafted player, we wish Hill the best of luck on whatever he does next.

The Titans signed Fred Brown.
This is a multi-year for Brown, so the Titans appear to have some high hopes for the talented former undrafted player. Tennessee has a pretty wide-open wide receiver depth chart, so this is a good spot for Brown to compete and potentially win a big role on offense. He’s someone to watch this summer.

The Broncos released Jeff Driskel.
The athletic Driskel should not have much trouble finding a new team as a quarterback that can run around and make some plays if thrust into action as a backup.

The Broncos signed Eric Saubert.
Saubert will provide depth in the Browns tight end group, and he’ll likely be a much better real-life contributor than a fantasy factor in 2021.

The Patriots are declining Sony Michel’s fifth-year option.
Michel has battled injuries throughout his career, and the Patriots are extremely deep at running back, so this isn’t a surprise. The former first-round pick and postseason star as a rookie is set to be part of a committee backfield this season.

Washington is releasing Jeff Badet.
Badet spent most of last season on the 53-man roster for Washington, and he shouldn’t have much trouble landing with another team given his speed and ability to contribute on special teams.
