Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay returns punt for a touchdown in Week 12.

On offense, Clay received an end around that he zoomed down the sideline for 29 yards on, and he had a 60-yard punt return touchdown where he showed his breakaway speed. It’s great to see the third-year receiver make huge plays for his team, but he’s not a reliable fantasy option right now.

Breshad Perriman | Free Agent WR

Breshad Perriman is active for Monday Night Football.

Perriman was a healthy scratch last week, but he’ll be out there against the Texans. The former first-round pick isn’t a fantasy option at this point, but Houston has allowed some deep threats to get behind them in 2017, so he might carry some upside for those who are desperate for whatever reason.

Rex Burkhead | Free Agent RB

Rex Burkhead scores twice in Week 12 win.

Burkhead rushed 13 times for 50 yards and a touchdown, adding two receptions for three yards and another score. There was cause for concern after last week’s game when he fumbled, but Burkhead remained a big part of the offense, and it looks like he and Dion Lewis are the two main options for New England right now. With a significant role on the league’s best offense, Burkhead is worthy of a spot in fantasy lineups every week. The Patriots travel to Buffalo next Sunday.

Martellus Bennett | Retired TE

The Patriots placed tight end Martellus Bennett on IR.

Bennett has knee and shoulder injuries, and the shoulder injury appears to be the main thing that’s getting him placed on Injured Reserve. It’s still a mystery what went on in Green Bay with the Packers, and it’s also a mystery if Bennett will really retire like he indicated earlier this season. He’s under contract with the Patriots for 2018.

Eli Rogers | Free Agent WR

Eli Rogers caught three passes for 21 yards in Sunday’s win over the Packers.

Rogers operated as the clear third receiver and top slot option with JuJu Smith-Schuster out of the lineup, but he should be back to fourth on the depth chart when the rookie returns. Even if he gets another start in Week 13, Rogers won’t be a recommended fantasy option on the road.

11/27/17 - 03:40 PM ET

Jordy Nelson | Retired WR

Jordy Nelson catches three passes against the Steelers.

The veteran receiver gained only 11 yards on his three receptions (five targets). Nelson did have a key conversion for a first down late in the game on a quick pass where he reached the ball for a first, but he hasn’t had a huge impact with Brett Hundley in the lineup. Still, Nelson is a great player and is still a FLEX option—though one with obvious downside.

Robbie Chosen | Free Agent WR

Robby Anderson goes off in Week 12 loss.

Anderson caught six passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns, from 33 and 54 yards away. The second-year wideout has now scored in five-straight games, and he has at least 85 yards three times over that stretch. Anderson has played himself into the every-week WR2 conversation, but he will see a lot of Marcus Peters for Kansas City in Week 13. Still, it’s tough not to ride the hot hand, especially with fantasy playoffs potentially on the line for many owners.
