Join now >Carson Palmer is not expected back this season.
The Cardinals are 4-6, and rushing back Palmer probably won’t make a difference with the NFC playoffs looking like a tough crack right now. If the Cardinals make an amazing run to playoff position late in the season, then maybe Palmer would come back—but expect his season to be over. After the season, the focus will turn to whether he comes back for at least another season. Larry Fitzgerald is already coming back after he signed a one-year extension through 2018, so that might indicate that he knows his quarterback will be coming back too.

Kirk Cousins plays great but the Redskins fall to 4-6.
Cousins lit up a defense that’s been playing great recently to help put his team ahead for most of the game, but the Saints came back from a 15-point deficit with under six minutes to go and won in overtime. In the loss, Cousins was 22/32 for 322 yards and three touchdowns while also adding 11 rushing yards on three attempts. Despite Washington’s record, Cousins has been playing great lately—though all three touchdowns yesterday were to wide-open receivers created by great play design and play calling. Still, Cousins will be a QB1 option against the Giants next week.

David Johnson (wrist) is not expected to return this season.
Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said that, as of now, Johnson or anyone else on IR will not return this season because the progress hasn’t been significant enough. The team probably sees the writing on the wall, as their playoff hopes are nearly done considering the NFC is stacked with playoff teams that are healthier and playing a lot better than they are at 4-6. We recommend keeping Johnson on your fantasy roster if possible, just because he’s one of the best fantasy players when he’s on the field—even if it’s unlikely for him to return this year. If he doesn’t return, expect Johnson to be 100% for the start of offseason training, and he’ll be an eventual sure-fire first round selection in all fantasy drafts in 2018.

Braxton Miller gets three targets in Week 11.
Miller caught two passes for 14 yards in the Texans victory. The second-year receiver is only an option in dynasty leagues right now.
11/20/17 - 12:43 PM ET
Jimmy Garoppolo will not start in Week 12.
Garoppolo was expected to start this week after the team’s bye week in Week 11, but the 49ers are sticking with C.J. Beathard for now. It would’ve been nice to see Garoppolo hit the field with his new team, but the bright side is Beathard gets more experience as he looks to develop as an excellent backup behind the franchise quarterback. Garoppolo is still likely to start some games this season, but there will only be five weeks left after this game against the Seahawks.

C.J. Fiedorowicz catches both targets versus Arizona.
Fiedorowicz gained 18 yards on his two receptions in Week 11. He’s someone to keep an eye on, but Fiedorowicz shouldn’t be in fantasy lineups until he puts up some better numbers in a game.

Samaje Perine (finger) is questionable for Week 12.
It’d be a major shock if he didn’t tough it out and play in the Thanksgiving primetime matchup against the Giants, but his status needs to be checked when the actives and inactives are released tomorrow night at 7:00 PM ET. As the clear-cut starter set to have a sizable workload, Perine would be a very good option in fantasy lineups if active.
