Join now >Marvin Hall catches touchdown against the Dolphins.
Hall, who was just called up from the practice squad during the week, is a second-year undrafted receiver form Washington. He got deep behind Miami’s defense, hauling in a 40-yard touchdown reception on his first-career catch. It was Hall’s only reception of the game, but he made it count and it’s great to see him shine when his number was called. Hall isn’t a fantasy option right now, but he’s someone to keep an eye on.

Latavius Murray starts and gets 14 touches in Week 5.
The former Raider received his first start with the Vikings, carrying 12 times for 31 yards and adding two receptions (on two targets) for 12 yards. Murray did show some nice quickness and downhill ability from the start, but teammate Jerick McKinnon played lights out and ended up with more touches (22) in the game. Murray is a FLEX option in Week 6, but he’s a bit of a risk with an uncertain workload given the chance of McKinnon continuing to get a good amount of carries.

Chris Thompson gets 20 touches against the 49ers.
With Rob Kelley (ankle) out, Jay Gruden and the Redskins turned to Chris Thompson to handle most of the backfield work. Thompson had 16 carries for 33 yards rushing and four receptions for a team-high 105 yards receiving. If Kelley remains out in Week 7 against the Eagles, Thompson could be in line for a similar workload. Christian McCaffrey just caught ten passes against the Eagles on Thursday night, so Thompson—who had four receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown against Philadelphia in Week 1—is an intriguing option.

Jerick McKinnon plays great in Week 5.
With Dalvin Cook out, McKinnon and Latavius Murray split work in the backfield, but McKinnon had the hot hand and ended up receiving more carries in the game. He actually led the team in both rushing and receiving, carrying 16 times for 95 yards and a touchdown while adding six receptions for 51 yards. The touchdown was a 58-yard run, the longest touchdown run of his career, where he received excellent blocking and zoomed to the end zone. All night, he ran hard and wasn’t afraid to lower his shoulder despite not being the biggest guy. 20+ touches on a weekly basis might be a bit of a stretch, but McKinnon is in the FLEX conversation for Week 6 against the Packers—though he does have slight risk if the Vikings decide to scale back his workload.

Austin Hooper gets nine targets against the Dolphins.
His nine targets were a team high, and he caught seven of them for 48 yards. Matt Ryan targeted Hooper deep down the middle on a potential go-ahead touchdown drive, but the pass was deflected and intercepted, sealing the win for Miami. Hooper won’t be a bad option in a likely high-scoring game next Sunday night versus New England. He scored in the Super Bowl against the Patriots last season.

Case Keenum plays well in relief of Sam Bradford.
With Bradford unable to play like his usual self, Keenum entered the game late in the second quarter just before halftime and gave the Vikings a boost on offense for the rest of the game. Keenum was 17/21 for 140 yards and a touchdown in the game, along with a 22-yard carry. He kept the offense moving, and it looks like he’ll probably have to do it again this Sunday against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, as Bradford sadly does not look ready to contribute the way he’s capable of.

Lamar Miller totals 81 yards on 18 yards in Week 6 win.
Miller rushed 15 times for 41 yards against an underrated Browns front, also adding three catches for 40 yards. Rookie D’Onta Foreman handled 12 carries and impressed with 59 yards, so that’s a definite concern for Miller owners, though he should be safe unless Foreman really turns it on. The Texans travel to Seattle in Week 7, so Miller is more of a FLEX than RB2 option.
