Aaron Jones goes off in Packers’ win over Dallas.

The rookie running back carried 19 times for 125 yards and a touchdown while adding a nine-yard reception. He showed excellent vision, quickness, and burst throughout the entire game and worked as the clear lead guy for Green Bay with Ty Montgomery (ribs) out. The Cowboys don’t have a top run defense, but it was still a great performance by the rookie. Don’t be surprised if Jones gets a good amount of carries even when Montgomery returns.

Trevor Siemian leaves game with apparent shoulder injury.

Siemian is questionable to return against the Giants with his team down by 14 with under two minutes to go in the first half. He was struggling before he left, going 11/23 for 148 yards and two interceptions and a nine-yard carry. Siemian injured the left non-throwing shoulder on a dive tackle attempt on a pick-six by Janoris Jenkins. Old starter Brock Osweiler is now under center for the Broncos.

Jared Cook caught three passes for 25 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Ravens.

He also lost a fumble on the first drive of the game, and it was returned for a touchdown by cornerback Jimmy Smith. Cook should be better once Derek Carr returns to the lineup, which could come as early as next week against the Chargers. However, Los Angeles has already shut down Travis Kelce (one yard) and Evan Engram (zero yards) this season.

Ian Rapoport reports Steelers WR Martavis Bryant has requested a trade.

Keep in mind, Rapoport has a tendency to report things that turn out to be totally false, but this wouldn’t be a surprise if it was true. Bryant has number one receiver ability, but he’s had only one game over 50 yards this season and his role probably isn’t what he wants it to be. The Steelers do have capable receivers including rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster and slot receiver Eli Rogers, but it’s unclear if they would oblige Bryant with his trade request. It’s also worth keeping in mind Bryant is a strike away from being suspended indefinitely by the NFL, so teams might not be that willing to give up anything meaningful for Bryant.

Chris Hogan heads to the locker room with injury against the Jets.

On a pass over the middle late in the second quarter, Hogan took a shot to the rib area and was headed to either the tent or the locker room. Hogan is a tough player that probably isn’t going to make injuries look worse than they are, so this might be it for him today.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers beat the Cowboys again.

In a game where Dallas was basically doing whatever it wanted for most of the game offensively, the Packers had to score some points and they did. Rodgers was 19/29 for 221 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner to Davante Adams on a back-shoulder fade with 11 seconds to go. Rodgers also had four carries for 32 yards, including a key first-down run on the game-winning drive where he got out of bounds to help set them up for the game-winning score. The Packers have a difficult matchup against Minnesota next Sunday, but Rodgers will remain one of the top options at the position.

Benjamin Watson caught two passes for two yards in Sunday’s win over the Raiders.

It was a disappointing game for anyone that rolled with Watson in a nice matchup, as the Ravens went with the wide receivers against a weak cornerback group for Oakland. Watson is a borderline streamer against the Bears in Week 6.
