Join now >Brandon Marshall (ankle) has officially been ruled out against the Chargers.
It didn’t look like Marshall was going to return after he was carted to the locker room. It’s still early, but it might be a stretch to expect the veteran receiver to be ready next Sunday against Denver.

The Bills released WR Philly Brown.
Brown just signed this week after Jordan Matthews went down with a thumb injury last Sunday, but Buffalo needed to make room for cornerback Greg Mabin on the active roster. He might be back with Buffalo at some point, and other teams will be interested at some point if not.

Sterling Shepard (ankle) is out for the rest of the game.
Shepard injured his ankle in the first half and is unable to return against the Chargers. He’ll try to get health for next week against Denver.

Doug Baldwin is not listed on the Week 5 injury report.
Baldwin is probably still battling the groin issue, but there is zero doubt about his game status. You can pencil him into your lineup if you were planning on playing him. The Rams have done a good job of limiting Baldwin in some games, but he still has a lot of upside.
10/6/17 - 11:21 PM ET
Ty Montgomery (ribs) is officially inactive for the Packers.
Montgomery was doubtful for the game and was set to be out, but now it’s official. Rookie Aaron Jones is expected to get most of the work in the backfield with Montgomery out, with fellow rookie Jamaal Williams mixing in. Jones is a good fantasy option against the Cowboys.

C.J. Prosise (ankle) is doubtful for Week 5.
Prosise didn’t practice this week and he probably isn’t going to play in the game. There was some optimism the second-year back would be ready earlier in the week, but that apparently is not happening. The explosive J.D. McKissic will continue to fill in as the passing down back, with Thomas Rawls possibly getting some work in passing situations as well.
10/6/17 - 11:20 PM ET
Derek Carr (back) is officially inactive for the Raiders.
Carr was reportedly pushing very hard to play in the game, but it just isn’t going to happen. E.J. Manuel will start against the Ravens, but there’s a real possibility for Carr to play in Week 6.
