Join now >Matt Forte (knee/toe) has been ruled out for second game in a row.
The veteran running back just isn’t ready to go, but maybe he’ll be ready for Week 6 against New England. Bilal Powell and rookie Elijah McGuire will handle the load against Cleveland this week.

Marcus Mariota (hamstring) is not expected to play against the Dolphins, according to Adam Schefter.
Titans head coach Mike Mularkey has made it clear throughout the week they aren’t going to rush their quarterback and risk further injury, so this isn’t surprising. We’ll know for sure when the inactive list is released in the morning, but it looks like Matt Cassel will be under center against the Dolphins.

Jack Doyle (concussion) is out for Week 5.
The Colts will turn to Brandon Williams, Henry Krieger-Coble, and Darrell Daniels at tight end against the 49ers, and none of them are recommended fantasy options. Hopefully Doyle is back for Week 6 against the Titans, but he won’t be a reliable TE1 until Andrew Luck (shoulder) returns.

C.J. Prosise (ankle) has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game.
Prosise was listed as doubtful on the injury report, so it’s not surprising that Seattle has ruled him out already. The second-year back has struggled to stay healthy so far in his career, and there’s no guarantee he returns in a big passing role when he gets back to 100%.

Titans head coach Mike Mularkey says that Marcus Mariota (hamstring) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
He’s listed as questionable for the game against the Dolphins, so at least there’s a chance he will play. Fortunately, Tennessee plays at 1 PM, so fantasy owners will have time to get a replacement for Mariota if he’s inactive. We would get him in lineups against a weak secondary if he plays, but Carson Palmer, Sam Bradford, and Alex Smith are solid streaming options if Mariota is out.

Davante Adams cleared concussion protocol, according to Rob Demovsky.
He’s traveling with the team and is fully expected to play tomorrow against the Cowboys. His presence is great for Aaron Rodger and the Packers, and he’ll be a strong WR2 option in the game.

John Ross (knee) will miss Sunday’s game against the Bills.
It’s his fourth absence in five weeks, as the first-round pick can’t get and stay healthy so far. The dynasty prospects remain high for Ross, but it’s looking increasingly unlikely that he has value in redraft leagues as a rookie.
