Derby led the team in all categories, and his 22-yard score was the only touchdown of the game for Denver. Oakland is typically bad at defending tight ends, so that probably had something to do with the performance. Derby can stay on the waiver wire as the Broncos head into their bye.

Kareem Hunt goes over 100 yards again.
The rookie running back carried 21 times for 101 yards along with four receptions (on four targets) for 40 yards versus the Redskins. It was Hunt’s third 100-yard rushing game in his first four-career games, as he continues his scorching start to his NFL career. Hunt is on pace for 272 carries, 2,008 rushing yards, 16 rushing touchdowns, 52 receptions, 628 receiving yards, and eight receiving touchdowns. Obviously, he’s one of the top running back options each week, including in Week 5 against the Texans.

Devontae Booker makes 2017 debut in Broncos’ win.
Booker played clearly behind C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles, rushing three times for 14 yards, while Anderson handled 24 touches and Charles handled six. It looks like there’s a chance Booker takes over as the backup over Charles, but that would be surprising with the veteran averaging 5.3 yards per carry. The Broncos have a bye week to figure things out before taking on the Giants in Week 6.

Alex Smith plays great again to lead the Chiefs to 4-0.
Smith was 27/37 for 293 yards and a touchdown, along with seven carries for 56 yards and a rushing touchdown against the Redskins. The veteran signal-caller led a go-ahead field goal drive with under two minutes to go in a tie game, as he made a huge play when he scrambled right and threw a 37-yard dime to Albert Wilson down the field. Smith continues to play lights out, as he’s completing passes at a high clip and is on pace for 4,268 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions this season. The Chiefs will look to improve to 5-0 when they face the Texans on Sunday night.

Dontrelle Inman catches one pass in Week 4.
The reception went for seven yards and it was his only target of the game. Inman is a good player for the Chargers, but he’s not a fantasy option.

Andrew Luck will practice this week.
Colts GM Chris Ballard was on the team’s radio show tonight, and he said Luck will be worked back into practice this week, while adding the franchise quarterback has been “doing really good” and is getting his arm strength close to where it needs to be. Luck isn’t going to play this week, but Week 6 is a very real possibility. His return is close.

Jamaal Charles makes an impact on just six touches in Week 4 win.
Charles rushed five times for 33 yards and caught a 14-yard pass, as C.J. Anderson dominated work with 24 touches, and Devontae Booker made his season debut and handled three carries. Averaging 5.3 yards per carry, Charles is on pace for 700 yards and four scores as a change-of-pace option behind Anderson. He’s probably worth holding onto through he team’s bye week.
