James White racks up ten catches against the Panthers.

White caught ten of twelve targets, gaining 47 yards on his ten receptions. White also added a seven-yarder on his only carry of the game. While he didn’t pick up a ton of yards on his receptions, White remains among the most reliable receivers for Tom Brady and the Pats. He’ll remain an excellent option for PPR leagues on Thursday night against the Buccaneers.

Darren Sproles implies he will come back in 2018.

Sproles, who both tore his ACL and broke his arm on the same play on Sunday, tweeted “Thanks to everyone for all your continued prayers and well wishes! #TheComeBackWillBeReal #StayTuned”. The 34-year-old back isn’t going out like this, despite the fact that it would’ve been quite the way to go out after he showed extreme toughness by walking off the field with a torn ACL and broken arm while many players today will roll around on the ground for minutes with a mildly sprained ankle. The Eagles will very likely want Sproles back next season, as he’s still an effective player both on offense and on punt returns. If they don’t want him back, other teams certainly will.

Colts feed Frank Gore in Week 3 victory.

Indy must have decided they need to do everything they can to get a win, so they handed their veteran back the ball 25 times in the game. Gore was only able to pick up 57 yards, but he did run for a four-yard touchdown. He also had a one-yard reception. Given Seattle’s shaky run defense so far this season, Gore is a FLEX option next week against them—though there’s a chance they shut him down, making him a risky one.

A.J. Green scores in Week 4.

Green caught five of seven targets for 63 yards and a touchdown against the Browns. The star receiver is on pace for 100 receptions for 1,260 yards and eight touchdowns through four games, as he’s racked up at least five receptions and 63 yards in each of the first four weeks of the season. Despite a difficult matchup against the Bills next week, Green will remain one of the top receiver options in Week 5.

Michael Thomas gets 11 targets in Saints’ win.

Thomas caught eight of 11 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins. Early in the game, the Saints went right after rookie cornerback Cordrea Tankersley, and the Saints were able to get some completions on him. Thomas’ touchdown came on a short pass by the goal line that he took through a tackle at the goal line. Thomas should be a WR1 when he returns from his Week 5 bye.

Giovani Bernard breaks long touchdown in Week 4.

Bernard carried three times for 12 yards and added three receptions (on four targets) for 67 yards and a touchdown against the Browns. The score was a 61-yarder on a screen pass the Bernard pretty easily took up the field for a touchdown. Bernard is just a PPR FLEX option for now, as Joe Mixon is getting most of the carries in the backfield for the Bengals. He only has eight receptions through four games, though, and 26 total touches.

Giovani Bernard scores six-yard receiving touchdown in loss to the Packers.

Bernard had just five touches, but looked good, rushing three times for 27 yards and catching two passes for 12 yards and the score. Still, it wasn’t a good sign that Joe Mixon handled 21 touches, as the Bengals are expected to feature the talented rookie from now on. Bernard is just a bench player in PPR leagues at this point.
