Join now >Jamaal Williams has a knee injury and is officially questionable to return.
Williams was getting worked on at the bench, so we’ll see if the rookie back is able to get back in the game.

Latavius Murray gets two carries in Week 3.
Murray gained five yards on his two carries, while rookie Dalvin Cook handled 32 total touches in the game. It looks like Cook will be the workhorse all season long, despite Murray’s ability.

Chester Rogers (hamstring) did not practice today.
He’s not off to a good start for the week, but we’ll see if he can practice and get ready to play on Sunday night.

Matthew Stafford and the Lions come up inches short against the Falcons.
Stafford was 25/45 for 264 yards and one touchdown, with another would-be game-winner being overturned on review to end the game, as Golden Tate was down just short of the goal line. It was a tough way to end the game, but Detroit showed they are a real threat in the NFC by playing the Falcons the way they did. Stafford also rushed twice for 19 yards in the loss. He and the Lions now head to Minnesota, and despite going 2-0 against them last season, it’s an imposing matchup. We wouldn’t recommend starting Stafford in Week 4.

Doug Baldwin (groin) is going to “try to play” tonight, according to Adam Schefter.
Baldwin is a game-time decision, but Baldwin probably doesn’t want to miss the game and will be out there. Schefter actually says the groin issue for Baldwin has “been an issue,” so it sounds like he’s been battling through it. There’s probably a chance Baldwin aggravates his groin injury at some point, which makes him a bit risky. He does offer good upside whenever he’s on the field, so you can have him in your fantasy lineup against the Colts if he’s active.

Dalvin Cook gets 32 touches in Week 3.
The rookie back carried 27 times for 97 yards and a touchdown on the ground while adding five receptions for 72 yards against the Bucs. Obviously, 32 touches is a ton and it’s something fantasy owners love to see; and the touchdown was Cook’s first in the NFL, so it was a great day for him in a Vikings’ win. Cook should be good for at least another 20 touches in Week 4 against the Lions.

Adam Thielen plays very well in Week 3 win.
Thielen had five receptions for 98 yards against the Buccaneers. It was obviously a great game for him, even without Sam Bradford at quarterback for a second straight game. Thielen looks like he’s going to put up consistent numbers each week, and he’s a high-floor WR2/FLEX option with upside next week against the Lions.
