Case Keenum | Bears QB

Case Keenum lights up the Bucs in Vikings’ win.

Keenum was 25/33 for 369 yards and three touchdowns in what might have been the best game of his career so far. It was great to see him step up with Sam Bradford (knee) out another week, as wins like this could be huge late in the season for a team hoping to be playoff and Super Bowl contenders. Hopefully Bradford is back next week against the Lions, but the Vikings will look to Keenum to keep it going if not.

Sam Bradford | Free Agent QB

Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford (knee) will miss Week 4.

Head coach Mike Zimmer just made the announcement. After his excellent start to the season in a Week 1 win over the Saints, Bradford will now miss his third game in a row. Case Keenum will make this third straight start in a big NFC North matchup against the Lions. It’s really a shame Bradford’s knee is giving him so much trouble, but hopefully he’s able to get over it once and for all in the coming weeks so he can lead his team for the rest of the season.

O.J. Howard | Free Agent TE

O.J. Howard catches lone target in Week 3.

The rookie tight end had a 12-yard reception against the Vikings. He doesn’t need to be rostered in standard leagues right now.

9/25/17 - 11:11 AM ET

Tarik Cohen | Free Agent RB

Tarik Cohen totals 102 yards in Week 3 overtime win over Pittsburgh.

Cohen rushed 12 times for 78 yards and caught four passes for 24 yards, as the Bears relied heavily on their running backs. The rookie is a real asset in PPR leagues, and looks to have FLEX value in standard leagues, too. He’s a solid option for Week 4 against the Packers, as Chicago will need to use him if they want to keep up with Aaron Rodgers. They play on Thursday night.

9/25/17 - 12:24 PM ET

Cameron Brate | Free Agent TE

Cameron Brate scores in Week 3 loss.

Brate had four receptions (on four targets) for 33 yards and a touchdown against Minnesota. He took a big hit on the score, but held on and is thankfully OK. He’ll be in the TE1 discussion in Week 4 against the Giants.

9/25/17 - 11:10 AM ET

Curtis Samuel | Bills WR

Curtis Samuel (back) has been ruled out for Week 4.

This is a bit of a surprise, as Samuel practiced in a limited capacity this week, but the rookie will miss his first career game after battling injury issues in training camp. He doesn’t need to be owned in standard-sized leagues as a player with durability concerns on an inefficient offense, but he could develop fantasy value at some point in 2017.

9/29/17 - 01:30 PM ET

Ted Ginn Jr. | Retired WR

Ted Ginn catches 40-yard touchdown in Week 3 win.

Facing his former team in the Panthers, Ginn also rushed once for 15 yards and caught another four-yard pass, finishing with two catches for 44 yards and the score. It was the first time the deep threat has found the end zone with the Saints, and he has a pretty good chance to get deep again against Miami next Sunday in London. Ginn is a high-upside FLEX option in Week 4, but you hopefully have more consistent options to put in the lineup.
