Join now >Matt Forte (knee) is officially out against the Jaguars.
As NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported, Forte is week-to-week with his knee injury. Bilal Powell has a chance at 15+ touches this week against the Jaguars. Forte will try to get healthy for Week 5 against the Browns.

Charles Sims gets three touches in loss to the Vikings.
Sims had two carries for four yards and one reception for nine yards. He can be rostered in PPR leagues, but he shouldn’t be in fantasy lineups right now.

Curtis Samuel sprints for 31-yards in loss to the Saints.
It was his only carry of the game, and he also caught two passes for five yards. The second-round pick should get more involved as the season progresses, but with Cam Newton struggling, the entire offense is hurt. It’s probably safe to keep him on the waiver wire in redraft leagues.

Jacquizz Rodgers carries five times in Week 3.
Rodgers had five carries for 15 yards, as the Vikings didn’t allow the Bucs to do anything on the ground. Tampa Bay did abandon the running game, though, so there weren’t many opportunities there. Rodgers is still in the FLEX conversation against a Giants defense that has been gashed on the ground recently, but there are probably better options.

Ty Montgomery has broken ribs, according to Ian Rapoport.
He’s out for the game. Rapoport says the Packers running back played several plays with the broken ribs before finally coming out of the game. Obviously, Montgomery is one tough guy, but he’s not going to play through broken ribs. Montgomery will have about ten days to get ready for for Week 5 against the Cowboys, but we doubt he’ll be playing in that game. Rookie running back Jamaal Williams has taken the most snaps in the backfield since Montgomery has exited the game.

Drew Brees was 22/29 for 220 yards and three touchdown in Sunday’s 34-13 win over the Panthers.
Brees come through with the Saints facing their third-straight 0-3 start, finding Michael Thomas for a five-yard score, Brandon Coleman for an 11-yard score, and Ted Ginn for a 40-yard score. Fantasy owners can’t complain about the production and efficiency, but it could have been a bigger day if Cam Newton and the Panthers could have kept up. New Orleans will now head to London for a matchup with Miami, whom just lost to the Jets. Brees is an elite QB1 for that one.

Dion Lewis gets a few touches against the Texans.
Lewis carried twice for five yards while adding three receptions for 12 yards. He also worked as the kick returner again for New England. Even if Rex Burkhead (ribs) misses another game, Lewis isn’t a reliable fantasy option.
