Andrew Luck | Retired QB

Andrew Luck is expected to begin practicing soon, according to multiple reports.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports Luck could being practicing as early as this week, with other reports also saying Luck’s return is approaching. The Colts quarterback will probably need a couple weeks of practice to get ready to play in a game, but if Luck practices this week it’d be great. Week 5 against the 49ers is looking like a likely return for Luck, so the Colts would do well to win a game or two over the next two weeks without him.

Randall Cobb | Free Agent WR

Randall Cobb (chest) is listed as doubtful for Week 3.

Cobb didn’t practice all week, but the Packers are not yet ruling him out for the game. There’s still a chance Cobb is able to suit up in the game, but don’t count on it. The Packers play in the late afternoon games on Sunday, so it’s best to go with another option in your fantasy lineup.

Jeremy Maclin | Retired WR

Jeremy Maclin heads to locker room in Week 3.

Maclin cam down hard on an interception by the Jaguars and is being evaluated for a concussion. He’ll need to pass concussion protocol to get back in the game, and the Ravens could use him as they are down 13-0 to Jacksonville.

Evan Engram | Broncos TE

Giants TE Evan Engram will play Sunday against the Eagles.

Engram cleared the final stage of concussion protocol and is no longer on the injury report, so he’s ready to go in a big game against Philadelphia. The Eagles are tough against tight ends, so that paired with the struggling offensive line of the Giants means there are probably better options out there for you fantasy lineup.

Jordan Howard | Free Agent RB

Jordan Howard is playing with a sprained AC joint, according to Ian Rapoport.

Howard was limited last week against the Buccaneers with the shoulder injury, but he participated all week in practice and was a full participant in practice on Friday. Because the second-year back was not listed on the injury report, he’s expected to be fine for today’s game and should be in fantasy lineups. Perhaps expectations should be tempered, but the Bears should’ve listed him on the injury report if his shoulder issue was going to be an issue for today.

Dwayne Washington | Free Agent RB

Dwayne Washington (quad) is out for Week 3.

Washington injured his quad during Monday night’s win over the Giants, and he’ll miss this matchup against Atlanta after not practicing all week. Zach Zenner should fill in for him and be active on game day.

9/22/17 - 03:14 PM ET

Jordan Reed | Retired TE

Redskins TE Jordan Reed (rib/sternum) is not expected to play tonight, according to Adam Schefter.

Schefter says Reed will be a game-time decision but it’s more likely he doesn’t play in the game. Those that would like to put Reed in their lineup could try to pick up Vernon Davis and use him in the event of Reed being inactive, which seems likely. Raiders tight end Jared Cook is also a good option from the Sunday night game, and Colts tight end Jack Doyle is one of the better targets from the early games.
