Join now >Melvin Gordon totals 78 yards and finds the end zone in Week 2 loss.
Gordon rushed nine times for just 13 yards, but was able to convert a goal line carry, and he added seven receptions for 65 yards through the air. The Dolphins surprisingly got backfield penetration on almost of all Gordon’s rushing attempts, so the Chargers have some things to figure out heading into a matchup with the Chiefs. Gordon is obviously a high-end RB1.

Geronimo Allison makes 2017 debut.
After serving a one-game suspension to start the year, Allison made his debut against Atlanta and had three receptions for 24 yards. Allison did have a pass intended for him intercepted, as it looked like he might’ve been looking for a back-shoulder throw. Jordy Nelson (quad) and Randall Cobb (shoulder) both left the game, so Allison would certainly be worth a look in your lineup if they were to be out for Week 3.

Michael Crabtree goes off for three touchdowns in Week 2.
Crabtree and Derek Carr connected on all six targets, picking up 80 yards. It was a vintage performance by the veteran receiver, who still appears to be at the top of his game after catching six passes for 80+ yards in each of the first two weeks of the year. Crabtree faces the Redskins in Week 3.

Martellus Bennett gets targeted team-high 11 times in Week 2.
Bennett caught five passes for 47 yards, and it’s a bit concerning he couldn’t do more damage with the team-high in targets. Through two games, he’s looking like a low upside option.

Jalen Richard breaks long touchdown in Week 2.
The second-year back had six carries for 58 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown on a toss from the shotgun as he showed his one-cut ability and speed. Richard also had two receptions for 51 yards in the game, so it was quite the day for him. He’ll probably have some days like this throughout the season, but Richard is hard to trust in your fantasy lineup as long as Marshawn Lynch is there.

Davante Adams catches eight of ten targets in Week 2 loss.
With Jordy Nelson (quad) leaving the game in the first quarter, Adams became relied upon more by Aaron Rodgers. He made plays for his team, catching eight passes for 99 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown where he made a nice diving catch in the end zone. Adams would probably get a bump in value were Nelson to miss any more time, but hopefully Jordy is OK. Either way, he’s a solid option against the Bengals next Sunday.

Hunter Henry used as a receiving option in Week 2.
After not being targeted in the season opener, Henry caught seven passes for 80 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins, allowing fantasy owners who spent a mid-round pick on him to breath easy. The second-year tight end was really a part of the offense once Antonio Gates broke the tie with Tony Gonzalez for the touchdown record for the position, so hopefully the now 0-2 Chargers realize they need to give one of their best players more playing time and targets. Henry is probably a top-five option in standard leagues with Greg Olsen out for several weeks and others battling injuries and/or ineffectiveness.
