Rob Kelley | Free Agent RB

Rob Kelly rushed 12 times for 78 yards before leaving Sunday’s win over the Rams with a rib injury.

After the game, Jay Gruden said it might be fractured, which would almost certainly make Kelley miss some time. Samaje Perine became the team’s workhorse after “Fat Rob” left, handling 21 carries, so the rookie is in line for a big role if Kelley does indeed have a fractured rib. We’ll provide an update when there’s one available. The Redskins play the Raiders next Sunday night.

Jordan Reed | Retired TE

Jordan Reed (chest) is day-to-day.

Reed left yesterday’s game against the Rams and came back over to the sidelines in the second half with his pads in his hands. The Redskins tight end has played through worse things than this (his shoulder injury last season), and he’ll likely be out there for Week 3 against Oakland.

9/18/17 - 05:01 PM ET

Pierre Garcon | Free Agent WR

Pierre Garcon catches three of five targets in Week 2.

Garcon and the passing offense of the 49ers was limited against Seattle. He had 26 yards on his three receptions, which actually accounted for over 25% of the passing yardage for the 49ers. Garcon should have a much easier time in Week 3 against the Rams on Thursday night.

Rob Kelley | Free Agent RB

Rob Kelley (rib cartilage) is day-to-day, head coach Jay Gruden said.

It’s good to hear it’s not a serious injury for Kelley, who should be good to go for Sunday night against the Raiders. Check in on the practice report when it’s released on Wednesday to see if Kelly is able to participate.

9/18/17 - 05:00 PM ET

Matt Breida | Free Agent RB

Matt Breida carries four times for 35 yards against the Seahawks.

Breida had a solid game, as the Niners were able to attack Seattle on the ground and keep the game close. He also added a three-yard reception. The undrafted rookie has a good role with the Niners, but he won’t be a fantasy option as long as Carlos Hyde is on the field.

9/18/17 - 03:09 PM ET

Jaelen Strong | Free Agent WR

The Texans cut receiver Jaelen Strong.

Strong was a third-round pick in 2015, but things never worked out in Houston for the talented receiver. At 6’2″ with sub-4.5 speed and a 42″ vertical, Strong will certainly get picked up by someone at some point. The former two-time 1,100-yard receiver at Arizona State will likely have multiple teams interested in him.

9/18/17 - 04:57 PM ET

Kirk Cousins | Falcons QB

Kirk Cousins was 18/27 for 179 yards and one touchdown in Sunday’s 27-20 win over the Rams.

The Redskins relied heavily on the running game, as they ran it 39 times against Los Angeles, but Cousins threw the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter to break a 20-20 tie. Overall, though, it was another concerning performance for the Washington passing attack, as Terrelle Pryor doesn’t have Cousins’ trust and Jordan Reed left with a chest injury. He has a nice matchup on Sunday Night Football with the Raiders next week, but it’s hard to trust Cousins in your lineup right now.
