Join now >Vikings have “guarded optimism but concern” about Sam Bradford’s left knee injury, according to Adam Schefter per Chris Mortensen.
The injury required an MRI this week, and Bradford has been limited in practice, but we’d expect him to play on Sunday. Schefter’s report via Mortensen could mean nothing, but it’s worth keeping an eye on leading up to Sunday’s matchup with Pittsburgh. If Bradford sits, it’d obviously be a huge downgrade for all Vikings pass catchers. Coming off a 346-yard, three-touchdown performance, Bradford is our #10 quarterback for Week 2 assuming he’s active.

Eddie Lacy is inactive for the Seahawks today.
With Thomas Rawls now healthy and active for the game, Lacy is the odd man out in Seattle’s backfield. He couldn’t really get much going in Week 1 against the Packers, and he’s now the fourth guy in the backfield for the Seahawks. Seattle will go with Thomas Rawls, C.J. Prosise, and rookie Chris Carson in the backfield today versus the 49ers.

Eagles rookie running back Donnel Pumphrey has a torn hamstring.
The rookie running back missed practice with a hamstring injury, and Eagles head coach Doug Pederson just said it’s a torn hamstring that will keep him out indefinitely. The fourth-round rookie barely made the 53-man roster and was not active in Week 1 against the Redskins. He’ll certainly be placed on Injured Reserve, but he probably won’t be a designated to return player unless something happens to Darren Sproles. Pumphrey’s focus will shift to 2018, as he’ll look to make the Eagles roster and perhaps take over for Darren Sproles if he retires as expected.

Josh Doctson (hamstring) is active in Week 2 for the Redskins.
He was a limited participant in practice but he was expected to be good to go. Doctson was basically non-existant in the season opener last Sunday, but we’ll see if the talented second-year receiver gets more work today against the Rams.

NFL officially appeals Ezekiel Elliott preliminary injunction.
This is becoming a bit of a headache already, but in non-technical terms, the NFL is trying to get the court to reverse the decision to allow Elliott to play while the legal battle goes on. If successful, Elliott would apparently start serving his six-game suspension. The NFL asked the court to try to make a decision from September 19 to September 26. It’s still likely Elliott plays the entire 2017 season, but nothing would be surprising and we’ll see what comes of this.

Greg Olsen (foot) will not return to today’s game against the Bills.
Obviously, this is a huge loss for the Panthers in a close game against the Bills, but foot injuries can be tricky—this could potentially be a multi-week injury for Olsen. We should know more about this later tonight.

Tyler Boyd was not inactive because of a hamstring injury.
According to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said multiple times that Boyd was not inactive due to an injury. There’s really no reason for Lewis to lie about that, so it looks like Boyd was just inactive with rookie John Ross active. That was the original though, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, apparently inaccurately, reported Boyd was inactive because of a tight hamstring. Last year’s second-round pick appears to have fallen out of the mix in Cincinnati, and he could be a trade candidate at some point.
