Join now >Austin Ekeler (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of today.
Before leaving, Ekeler had seven carries for 18 yards and six receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. His year ends with 116 carries for 530 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown along with 54 receptions for 403 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in ten games. Credit to Ekeler for making a late-season return from a serious hamstring injury to play for his team despite the playoffs being out of reach. The dynamic running back figures to remain a huge part of the Chargers offense in 2021.

Kyler Murray leaves game with apparent leg injury.
Murray limped to the locker room after the first drive for the Cardinals, and Arizona quickly got the ball back following an interception by the defense, with Murray not out there. The dynamic quarterback entered today’s game dealing with a minor leg issue, but he was thought to have no limitations and looked good on the first drive running the ball. Hopefully Murray is able to return to the game soon.

The Colts placed Jordan Wilkins on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Wilkins is obviously out for today’s game against Jaguars, with Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines to handle the work in the Indy backfield. Hopefully Wilkins can get cleared and rejoin his teammates soon.

Larry Fitzgerald (groin) is officially inactive for Week 17.
For what might have been Fitzgerald’s last NFL game and a win-and-in scenario for the Cardinals, it’s a major surprise that Fitz is out today. However, the future Hall of Famer obviously is not in a spot to be able to help his team, and now he’ll hope they can win without him so that he can potentially be ready to play in the postseason. Statistically, this was the worst season of Fitzgerald’s career; he caught 54 passes for 409 yards and one touchdown in 13 games.

Donovan Peoples-Jones (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of today.
Peoples-Jones took a hit to the back late in the first half, and he’s officially out to start the second half. Before leaving, Peoples-Jones had one reception for 11 yards, and his first NFL regular season ends with 14 receptions for 304 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games.
1/3/21 - 02:49 PM ET
Cam Akers (ankle) is active for Week 17.
Akers has a high-ankle sprain, but he’s toughing it out and giving it a go in a key game against the Cardinals to end the regular season. The rookie running back missed just one game with the high-ankle injury.
1/3/21 - 02:31 PM ET
Mike Evans (knee) has officially been ruled out for the rest of today.
It took a while for the Bucs to give an official update on Evans’s status, but the big receiver slipped on an end zone target and had his knee twist awkwardly. It’s not a great sign that Evans has been ruled out, but hopefully the Bucs are mostly exercising caution with the postseason ahead. Before leaving, Evans crossed the 1,000-yard mark for the season, becoming the first player in NFL history to hit 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first seven seasons.
