Join now >The Steelers have placed Eric Ebron on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Ebron was a possible candidate to rest tomorrow along with Ben Roethlisberger and some others, but now he could be in danger of missing the team’s first playoff game next weekend. Vance McDonald should see most of the snaps at tight end tomorrow as the Steelers look to keep the Browns out of the postseason. Ebron’s first regular season in Pittsburgh ends with 56 receptions, 558 yards, and five touchdowns.

Washington promoted Dontrelle Inman to the active roster.
The veteran receiver should have little trouble stepping in and contributing if called upon tomorrow night against the Eagles, but he’s not a highly recommended fantasy option for Week 17.

Matthew Stafford (ankle) will start in Week 17, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Vikings-Lions is a “meaningless” game in terms of postseason implications with both teams eliminated, but Stafford is still going to suit up, which is obviously a boost for the skill-position players of Detroit. While the various injuries that Stafford is dealing with makes him a risk in lineups, this news increases the likelihood of a shootout.

Entire Saints running back room out for Week 17.
FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer says Latavius Murray and the rest of the running back room aside from runner/receiver hybrid Ty Montgomery have been deemed “close contacts” to Alvin Kamara and are all out tomorrow against the Panthers. This is obviously a tough blow to New Orleans as they continue to push for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Murray’s regular season ends with 146 carries for 656 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns along with 23 receptions for 176 yards and one receiving touchdown. Especially with Kamara’s status uncertain, the Saints will be counting on Murray to get cleared and available for the first round of the playoffs.

Alvin Kamara has officially been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
After his positive test was confirmed, Kamara is out for Week 17 against the Panthers, and he’s likely to miss the first round of the postseason assuming the Saints do not get the NFC’s top seed. This is a tough blow in fantasy title matchups, but fantasy owners have to be thrilled with Kamara’s six touchdowns last week. Kamara’s regular season ends with 187 carries for 932 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns along with 83 receptions for 756 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. This was probably the best season of Kamara’s career through four years in the league.

Alvin Kamara has tested positive for COVID-19, according to multiple reports.
Nick Underhill first reported the news of Kamara’s positive test. Kamara and the team are awaiting the results of a second test, so the hope is that this is just a false-positive. But if Kamara does have COVID, he will obviously be out for Week 17 and might also be in danger of missing the first round of the playoffs. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available on Kamara’s status.

DeSean Jackson (ankle) has been ruled out for the season finale.
In just five appearances with the Eagles in 2020, Jackson caught 14 passes for 236 yards and one touchdown. The precarious cap situation that Philly finds themselves in could mean Jackson is back next year because they’d have to eat money to cut him, but it’s clear the team needs to get younger and more reliable options at receiver.
