Join now >Sam Bradford (knee) was a limited participant in practice today.
This is the second-straight practice Bradford has been limited because of a knee injury. Ideally, he’d be out there for practice as a full participant, but there’s no question he’ll be out there on Sunday against the Steelers. Bradford is coming off a performance that led to him being named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the first week of the season.

Jay Ajayi has dealt with knee soreness “for a while.”
Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said his star running back, who is listed on the injury report with a knee injury, didn’t injure the knee and it’s just something he’s battling. Ajayi was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, and there’s no concern about him missing any time. However, it might be an issue for Ajayi’s long-term health. If you remember, Ajayi had questions about his knee during the draft in 2015, which is the only reason the former Boise State beast of a runner lasted until the fifth round. Don’t be too alarmed by Ajayi battling knee soreness, but it’s something to keep an eye on. Hopefully the 24-year-old back has no issues long-term and continues his pace to a great, long career.

Odell Beckham Jr. says his injury is a 6-8 week injury.
It must be a severe high-ankle sprain that OBJ is dealing with. This is about four weeks from the injury right now, so this timeframe could indicate Beckham is no lock to play on Monday night against the Lions. Of course, some people are able to heal quicker than others; and according to the Sunday Night Football broadcast, Beckham claims to be rehabbing 12 hours per day. Because he’s angling for a new contract, maybe Beckham will decide it’s best to sit out until he’s 100% and closer to the 6-8 week mark. The Giants playing on Monday night makes this a complicated situation for fantasy owners.

OBJ (ankle) was officially a limited participant in practice.
Beckham practiced today for the first time in almost a month. Maybe he’ll get in a full practice tomorrow or Saturday ahead of Monday night’s game versus Detroit, but if not, it’d still be a surprise if Beckham wasn’t out there for Week 2.

Danny Amendola is not practicing for the Patriots today.
Amendola is on the injury report for a head (presumed to be a concussion) and knee injury. Time’s running out for him to be able to play Sunday against the Saints. It’s unlikely the Patriots will play him if he isn’t out there for Friday’s practice, but we’ll get more clarity when the injury report is released tomorrow afternoon.

The Ravens signed RB Jeremy Langford off their practice squad.
Danny Woodhead (hamstring) was placed on Injured Reserve, and this is the corresponding move. Langford, who racked 816 total yards and seven total touchdowns as a rookie in 2015 with the Bears, will be the number three back behind Terrance West and Javorius Allen, but there’s a chance he carves out a nice role in the backfield. Still, only those in very deep leagues should add Langford right now.

Free agent TE Gary Barnidge will meet with the Texans, according to Chron.
The Texans have their top three tight ends all dealing with concussions, and Evan Baylis was called up from the practice squad and will be Houston’s only tight end in tonight’s game against the Bengals. With top tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz’s concussion keeping him out for at least several weeks after he was placed on IR, something could come together quickly between Barnidge and the Texans. For tonight, maybe superstar defensive lineman J.J. Watt could get some time at tight end for Houston.
