Join now >Thomas Rawls will play in Week 2.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says his running back is “raring to go,” something that is not surprising if you’ve ever heard Rawls talk. The third-year running back should bring a ton of energy to Seattle, which it looks like they need right now. Impressive rookie Chris Carson is the biggest threat to Rawls’ workload right now, and Rawls could be worked back in against the 49ers this week. However, Rawls did practice fully all last week, so maybe he’ll be put right back in there for a big workload on Sunday. He’s worth a shot in your lineup if you’re struggling at running back.

Jerick McKinnon gets six touches in Vikings’ Week 1 win.
McKinnon had three carries for five yards while adding three receptions for 32 yards. He worked ahead of Latavius Murray in the game and had a screen set up for him which went for 25 yards. As long as Dalvin Cook is on the field, McKinnon is unlikely to be a good fantasy option.

Andrew Luck is out for Week 2 against the Cardinals.
Head coach Chuck Pagano said he will not play this week. Making the announcement this early probably doesn’t bode well for Luck’s timeline, but it could also indicate they have some sort of return date in mind in terms of getting him requisite practice time before he plays. Still, Luck won’t practice fully or play until he’s 100%. Jacoby Brissett is probably going to start this week for Indy, and Arizona is one of the top D/ST options for Week 2.

Latavius Murray doesn’t get much time in Week 1.
Rookie Dalvin Cook had 25 touches against the Saints, not leaving much work for the other guys. Murray was not on the field for most of the first half until towards the end of the second quarter. He had two carries for six yards in the game, and he actually fumbled on his first carry for the team but fortunately the Vikings recovered it. Remember, Murray is still working his way back a little bit after missing basically all summer as he recovered from offseason ankle surgery. However, he looks like he’s only a handcuff to Cook for now.

The Cardinals are signing RB D.J. Foster.
Foster is being signed off New England’s practice squad. Foster is a 2016 undrafted running back from Arizona State that’s hung around on the Pats’ practice squad for the last two seasons, which shows the Patriots like him. After the wrist injury to David Johnson, Arizona is bringing the former Sun Devil to the desert. Kerwynn Williams and Andre Ellington have the advantage of being with the team already, but don’t rule out Foster getting a good amount of work in Johnson’s absence. This probably rules out the Cardinals re-signing Chris Johnson.

Allen Robinson has a torn ACL, head coach Doug Marrone said.
The team said yesterday Robinson had an ACL injury, but this 100% confirms it’s a tear and that he’ll miss the rest of the season. It’s very unfortunate for Robinson, who is in a contract year and now has to go through surgery the na long rehab process to get back on the field. We’ll see what happens with his contract situation, but Robinson should be 100% well in advance of the 2018 season and maybe by OTAs or training camp. For this season, Marqise Lee steps in as the number one receiver for the Jags, with Allen Hurns and Keelan Cole as others that’ll need to pick up the slack for the loss of A-Rob.

David Johnson might need wrist surgery.
Head coach Bruce Arians just said the initial prognosis is that Johnson has a disclosed wrist—which could keep him out for most of the season. According to multiple reports, it sounds like Johnson will be out at least a few weeks with the injury, which isn’t a surprise if it’s a dislocated wrist. There is still some slight hope the second opinion Johnson is getting will bring good news, but that doesn’t appear to be the direction this is headed. If you have Johnson, brace for the worst and expect to be without your first pick for most of the year.
