Join now >Marlon Mack scores in NFL debut.
It was the only touchdown for the Colts in a 46-9 loss, and it was a three-yard run in the fourth quarter. Mack finished with 10 carries for 24 yards and the touchdown, but he gained 24 yards on one carry and zero on the other nine, though he was able to add a 21-yard reception. The rookie is a good speculative add and might find himself as the lead back pretty soon if the Colts fall out of contention early, which it looks like may happen if Andrew Luck is out into October.

Chris Thompson catches touchdown in Week 1 against the Eagles.
Thompson had four receptions for 52 yards, including a 29-yard touchdown, for the Redskins. Thompson did also have three carries for four yards, but through the air is where he’ll do his damage this season. He’s a weekly option in PPR leagues and best the Rams in Week 2.

Paul Richardson gets seven targets in Week 1.
His seven targets against the Packers were tied for a team lead with Jimmy Graham. Richardson caught four of them for 59 yards. He’s clearly a starter on the outside for Seattle after playing so well at the end of last season. Richardson will have some big weeks and is definitely worth a roster spot on fantasy rosters.

The Chiefs released RB C.J. Spiller.
This comes about six hours before the team’s season opener, so it’s surprising. There’s a chance the Chiefs decide to bring Spiller back at some point, but for now it’ll be Charcandrick West as the primary backup to Kareem Hunt. Recently-signed practice squad player Akeem Hunt is on the practice squad and will likely get moved up to the 53-man roster.

Doug Baldwin catches all four Week 1 targets.
Seattle lost to Green Bay, but Baldwin played well, catching four passes for 63 yards. There’s not much question Baldwin is going to be chirping for more targets in Week 2 against the Niners. He’ll be a high floor option in that game.
9/11/17 - 01:47 PM ET
Rob Kelley carries ten times in Week 1 against the Eagles.
Washington threw the ball 40 times, not leaving much work for Kelley and he running backs. Kelley had 30 yards on his ten carries, but the good news for Kelley is rookie Samaje Perine didn’t get any touches in the game. The second-year running back should get more carries next week against the Rams.
9/11/17 - 09:10 AM ET
Frank Gore rushed 10 times for 42 yards in the Colts’ season opener.
He also caught a 10-yard pass. Gore didn’t have much of a shot to get going as his team was down 27-3 at halftime and ended up losing 46-9 to the Rams. Marlon Mack took a lot of second-half carries, but he only had 24 yards on 10 attempts, though he did score. Gore is a risky fantasy option for as long as Andrew Luck is out, and he might be a good guy to trade away with the Colts season already in question.
