Agholor caught six-of-eight targets for 86 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles. The third-year receiver’s touchdown came on a 58-yarder where Carson Wentz scrambled around before finding Agholor open down the field; it wasn’t an easy catch, as he kind of went up for it then broke a tackle from Redskins safety D.J. Swearinger and walked into the end zone from there. Agholor showed his route running ability and his strong hands throughout the game. After struggling with confidence and getting in his own head last season, this is an excellent start for 2017 for Agholor, who was relied upon with Alshon Jeffery being covered by Josh Norman for most of the game. Agholor has the potential to be a huge difference-maker for the Eagles, and he’s definitely worth a look on the waiver wire.

DeAndre Hopkins gets 16 targets in Week 1.
16 targets is a lot, but the Texans were playing from behind for the entire game. Hopkins caught seven passes for 55 yards and a touchdown against the Jags. The touchdown came on a slant route in the end zone on the first drive of the second half when Deshaun Watson was inserted for Tom Savage. It’s unclear if Watson or Savage would be the better option for Hopkins’ outlook, but he’ll receive a lot of targets each week either way. Hopkins should be a WR1/WR2 against the Bengals on Thursday night.

DeAndre Hopkins (hand) practiced fully for the Texans today.
Hopkins dealt with a broken hand for basically the entire preseason, but he’s back to 100% and ready to go against Jacksonville in Week 1. He’s more of a WR2 than WR1 because of the difficult matchup against Jalen Ramsey and former teammate A.J. Bouye, but Hopkins should receive a good amount of targets.

D’Onta Foreman sees one touch in NFL debut.
It was a four-yard rush, as the rookie was behind both Lamar Miller and Tyler Ervin in the pecking order. We don’t expect that to be the case for long though, and Foreman is worth a roster spot at the end of your bench. He should get more than one carry on a short week against Cincinnati this Thursday night.

Zach Ertz catches all eight targets in Week 1.
Ertz was a reliable target for Carson Wentz, catching eight passes for 93 yards, which led the Eagles in receiving against Washington. Alshon Jeffery was matched up with Josh Norman and had only three receptions for 38 yards in the game, but it looks like Ertz is a good bet to lead the team in catches and should be PPR gold this season.

Tyler Ervin sees seven touches in season opener.
The second-year back rushed three times for eight yards and caught four passes for 18 yards. He was also the team’s primary returner on kickoffs and punts. We expect the running back situation to turn into a committee at some point this season, but it’s unlikely Ervin gets much more than the seven touches he received yesterday if that turns out to be the case. He can be left on the waiver wire.

Markus Wheaton (finger) did not practice today.
Wheaton is still dealing with a broken finger and probably won’t be ready for Sunday against the Falcons. Week 2 is a more likely return for Wheaton.
