Join now >Malcolm Mitchell (knee) was a limited participant in practice today.
Mitchell has dealt with knee issues for a while now, which might be a concern for his long-term outlook. However, he should be good to go for Thursday night, and we’ll know for sure when the injury report is released tomorrow.

Marshawn Lynch makes return after retired season.
Lynch looked good in his first regular season game since 2015, rushing 18 times for 76 yards while adding a 16-yard reception. His best play was a trademark Beast Mode run where he broke through Jurrell Casey’s tackle and drove forward for extra yardage. Tony Romo, who was calling the game for CBS, said the Raiders told him they want to work Marshawn Lynch back after he missed all of last season, but fantasy owners will take the 19 touches. He’ll be an RB1/RB2 in that game.

C.J. Fiedorowicz was ruled out during the opening game against Jacksonville.
Fiedorowicz had four reception for 46 yards before leaving. He’ll now only have a few days to get cleared before Thursday’s Week 2 game against the Bengals.

Kerwynn Williams finds the end zone in Week 1.
Williams rushed five times for 10 yards, including a three-yard score in the third quarter. He also caught a tw0-yard pass, but the most important news from the game was David Johnson leaving with a potentially-serious wrist injury. Because Williams was the only running back to receive a carry behind Johnson, he’s probably the top add in the Arizona backfield, though they will likely use a committee. The Cardinals play Indy next.

Travis Kelce (calf) was a limited participant in practice today.
He was also limited yesterday, but there is zero concern about Kelce’s status for Thursday’s season opener against New England. Kelce could be someone we see on the injury report with limited practices a lot this season, but he’ll remain a top tight end option each week.
9/5/17 - 04:31 PM ET
John Brown caught four passes for 32 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Lions.
Brown also rushed once for 10 yards. The Cardinals offense as a whole really struggled, but hopefully it was a one week thing and they can bounce back. Brown and the offense get a perfect opportunity to do that next week against a Colts team that just had 46 points put up against them by the Rams.
9/11/17 - 12:24 PM ET
Thomas Rawls (ankle) is out for today’s game against the Packers.
Despite practicing fully all week, the Seahawks are holding out Rawls until he’s 100%. Expect him to be out there in Week 2. As for today, Eddie Lacy and Chris Carson will handle most of the early-down work, while C.J. Prosise could also get more work against Green Bay.
