Join now >Dion Sims catches two passes in Week 1.
The Bears tight end was targeted three times and gained 31 yards on his two receptions. Chicago has a deep tight end group, so Sims doesn’t offer much upside in fantasy lineups.

Ezekiel Elliott has been granted a preliminary injunction by Judge Mazzant.
The Cowboys running back will now be allowed to play until the legal fight over his six-game suspension is over—if we had to guess, it’ll be for the entire season. The ridiculous Deflategate saga lasted well over a year, and this NFL v. NFLPA battle should allow Elliott to play for the entire 2017 season and perhaps into 2018 even if he ends up being suspended in the end. Those that took a chance on Elliott in fantasy drafts certainly look like they’ll have it pay off for them. He’ll be a weekly RB1.

Kendall Wright gets targeted four times in Week 1.
The Bears slot receiver caught three passes for 34 yards against the Falcons. With the potential season-ending injury to Kevin White, it could open up more targets for Wright. However, Markus Wheaton (finger) could be back in Week 2. Still, Wright is worth a look in PPR leagues as a potential number one receiver from the slot.
9/11/17 - 11:18 AM ET
Andrew Luck (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 1.
Colts GM Chris Ballard just made the announcement at today’s press conference. Ballard added there is no timetable for their franchise quarterback’s return, but that’s been the case all along. When Luck is 100% and ready to play, he will play (which could be as soon as Week 2). But until he’s 100%, the Colts and Luck are not going to rush things, with Luck’s long-term health being the most important thing. Obviously, this hurts the Colts’ outlook heading into the season, as missing Luck for even one game could have a big affect on what should be a close AFC South. Scott Tolzien will start for Indianapolis on Sunday against the Rams, but recently-acquired Jacoby Brissett could make some starts if Luck were to miss more than just one week. The Rams defense should be a strong option in Week 1, and the skill position players for the Colts should get downgraded without Luck.

Zach Miller catches four-of-six targets in Week 1.
Miller had 39 reception against the Falcons. He doesn’t have a high weekly upside in Chicago and should not be in your fantasy lineup unless you play in a deep league.
9/11/17 - 10:59 AM ET
Tyler Lockett (knee) will play Sunday against Green Bay.
Lockett was a full participant in practice all week and will play in the game despite being listed as questionable, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said. The third-year receiver will return punts for Seattle, and he’ll be the number three receiver. Lockett might end up having a great day, but there are options you can have more faith in putting into your fantasy lineup for Week 1.
9/8/17 - 06:10 PM ET
Jordan Howard gets 16 touches in Week 1.
The second-year back had 13 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown along with three receptions for 14 yards versus the Falcons. Howard did have a drop near the goal line at the end of the game when the Bears had a chance to go ahead, but it didn’t look like he would’ve gotten into the end zone. Rookie Tarik Cohen actually had 13 touches behind Howard, which is a slight concern, but Howard should still be a solid RB1 after finishing second in the NFL in rushing as a rookie last season.
