Join now >Eric Decker did not play in the Titans’ preseason game earlier today.
Decker is still not 100% recovered from his ankle injury, so the Titans held him out of this game. It’s possible we see Decker out there for the final preseason game on Thursday, but probably not. It’d be a major surprise if Decker wasn’t out there on September 10 against the Raiders. Despite missing time, he’s being drafted as a top-100 guy in most fantasy drafts.

Ezekiel Elliott’s appeal hearing is going into Wednesday, according to Ian Rapoport.
Elliott is present at the meeting, and it’s going for a while. Both sides are likely very much locked in to their arguments, but it’d be a surprise if it stretched into Thursday. Obviously, people having their fantasy drafts isn’t of any concern in this matter to the NFL, Elliott, or the Cowboys, but it’d be nice to have this situation solved quickly—which probably will not happen. There’s definitely a chance Elliott is on the field for Week 1 one way or another, and he might not even end up being suspended until 2018.

Terrelle Pryor Sr. struggles in Week 3 of the preseason.
The big Redskins receiver caught one-of-four targets for 17 yards. His catch was a nice one over the middle where he held on around a few defenders, but Pryor dropped two passes in the game, including another one over the middle. Kirk Cousins trusts his receivers to make tough plays, so hopefully Pryor is able to step up and do that this season. Pryor’s ADP in the third/fourth round might be a bit much, despite his immense talent.

Devonta Freeman is fully cleared from his concussion.
Freeman did some individual work in practice yesterday, but now he’s been cleared to fully practice with the team. He’ll be good to go for the season opener against the Bears, and he’ll get a few practices in to get back into things and be ready for the game. Freeman should be an RB1 for that game, as he’ll get a big workload again this season, despite the presence of very talented teammate Tevin Coleman in the backfield.

Rob Kelley scores in Redskins’ third preseason game.
The second-year back looked good in the exhibition against Cincinnati, rushing ten times for 57 yards and a touchdown. He also had a three-yard reception in the game. Rookie Samaje Perine did get some work with the first team (as did Chris Thompson on passing downs), but Kelley is currently the clear lead guy in Washington’s backfield. Kelley will have to hold off Perine, but it looks like he could be one of the better value picks in fantasy drafts.

Multiple reports: the Jets might be looking to trade running back Matt Forte.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Jets have “gauged” the market for the veteran running back, but that his $4 million could complicate things. His NFL Network co-worker, Ian Rapoport, says there is “not a lot of optimism a deal can get done” but the Jets are still asking around. It’s difficult to understand what the Jets are doing, but this could mean the team wants to go with Bilal Powell as the clear lead guy in the backfield. We’ll see if anything comes of this, but Forte is still a very good player that has never had under 1,000 total yards in a season.

Redskins offense gets off to slow start in third preseason game.
The Redskins just seemed off offensively to start the game, but they did get it going in the second quarter when they scored ten points. Kirk Cousins was 10/19 for 109 yards and threw a 62-yard pick-six to Vontaze Burfict. His receivers did have a few drops, which is a slight concern in this revamped receiving corps. Cousins also kept the ball once on a zone read and ran for eight yards to pick up a first down on third-and-short. The Redskins quarterback is being drafted as a low-end QB1 in fantasy drafts.
