Ezekiel Elliott plays in Cowboys’ third preseason game.

Elliott, who is suspended the first six games of the season, got some action before his long layoff. Zeke carried six times for 18 yards and had two receptions for six yards (including a nice one-handed catch) against Oakland before exiting the game. His appeal of the six-game suspension is coming on Tuesday, but as of now don’t expect to see the second-year running back on the field until October.

Dak Prescott looks sharp in Cowboys’ third preseason game.

Prescott was 11/14 for 113 yards and a touchdown against the Raiders. As the numbers indicate, he threw the ball accurately and moved the ball against the Raiders defense. The touchdown went to hit tight end Jason Witten, and Dak also had two carries for eight yards on the ground. Prescott is looking to take more on his shoulder with Ezekiel Elliott out for the first six games of the season, so he could put up some bigger numbers than his great rookie year.

C.J. Anderson scores in Broncos’ third preseason game.

He was untouched on a first-quarter, 16-yard touchdown, and finished with nine carries for 31 yards and caught two passes for seven yards. Anderson will be the lead back for the Broncos, but Jamaal Charles looked good in his first action in a Denver uniform and could eat into his workload. Anderson is currently going in the fifth-round of fantasy drafts.

Jared Cook catches two passes in Week 3 of the preseason.

Cook caught both of his targets in the game. He’s locked in as Derek Carr’s primary tight end in 2017, so the athletic tight end should have some good games in 2017. Cook is going outside the top 15 tight ends in fantasy drafts.

Trevor Siemian was 13/22 for 127 yards and one interception in the Broncos’ third preseason game.

He also rushed twice for 18 yards. Named the starter earlier in the week, Siemian’s interception was an overthrow to Demaryius Thomas over the middle, but it’s not a concern; Siemian is the best option for all fantasy options for Denver, and he could provide streaming appeal in the right matchup.

Cordarelle Patterson scores in Raiders’ third preseason game.

Patterson scored one of two second-quarter touchdowns for the Raiders, as Derek Carr found him wide open in the end zone against the Cowboys. Patterson had four receptions for 30 yards and the touchdown, along with a four-yard rush, in the exhibition. He’s going to be a real weapon for the Raiders this season, but his numbers might not be reliable enough to be a good fantasy option.

Martellus Bennett catches seven-yard pass on Saturday night.

After catching a touchdown in last week’s game, Bennett’s ADP jumped, but we’re not sure it should have. He has the makings of a touchdown-dependent TE1 that isn’t worth drafting in the middle rounds ahead of high-upside running backs or wide receivers.
