It was his first time playing with Drew Brees this preseason after the quarterback sat out the first two games. He has a tough couple of weeks to start the regular season with Minnesota and New England, but Thomas is worth a pick in the second round of fantasy drafts.

Martavis Bryant catches five-of-six targets in Steelers’ preseason game.
Bryant had 23 yards on his five receptions, surprisingly not making any huge plays on any of his catches. It’s possible Bryant plays in Week 4 of the preseason, but if not then we’ll see him in Week 1 against the Browns. The supremely talented receiver is going in the 20-30 range for his position in fantasy drafts.

Mark Ingram rushed four times for nine yards and caught two passes for 11 yards on Saturday night.
It was Ingram’s first action of the preseason, and he started ahead of Adrian Peterson, whom also saw his first game action of the season. The two split time fairly evenly, and that should be the case in the regular season with Alvin Kamara mixing in. Ingram is currently going in the fifth/sixth round of fantasy drafts.

All Day makes his Saints debut on Saturday night.
Peterson rushed six times for 15 yards and caught one pass for negative-one yard. The former Viking didn’t see the field on the first series of the game (a three-and-out), but rotated with Mark Ingram in the backfield after that. Peterson is currently going in the seventh/eighth round of fantasy drafts, but he carries a lot of upside based on history of proving people wrong alone. He, Ingram, and Drew Brees might play on Thursday night after sitting out the first two preseason games.

JuJu Smith-Schuster leaves and re-enters Steelers’ third preseason game.
Smith-Schuster left briefly with an ankle injury, but he returned to the game for the Steelers. The rookie receiver had three receptions for 31 yards in the exhibition against the Colts. He should get some playing time this season, but he might struggle for fantasy value as Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant, and Le’Veon Bell will all be ahead of him for targets, with Eli Rogers and others also possibly ahead of him.
8/27/17 - 12:05 PM ET
Antonio Brown catches both targets in Steelers’ preseason game.
AB and Ben Roethlisberger looked to have their usual great connection, as Brown caught two passes for 28 yards in the exhibition against Indy. You can’t go wrong with drafting Brown on your fantasy team, as he’s probably the safest player in all of fantasy, offering an insanely high floor and also has great upside.

Drew Brees makes 2017 preseason debut.
Brees was 11/15 for 76 yards in a win against the Texans, leading the offense to a first-quarter field goal in a quiet 13-0 exhibition. The future Hall of Fame quarterback had his full collection of offensive starters on the field, including Adrian Peterson, and we could see them again on Thursday night; Sean Payton played the starters in the fourth preseason game last season.
