Join now >Corey Clement leads Eagles in rushing in Week 3 of the preseason.
The undrafted rookie from Wisconsin continues to impress. He had nine carries for 42 yards and a touchdown, and added two receptions for 11 yards. Clement also flashed in pass protection once again on at least one play against the Dolphins. It was surprising Clement went undrafted after a very good college career at Wisconsin, and he’s certainly not playing like he was an undrafted guy. Clement should be on the Eagles’ final roster, and there will be teams interested in claiming him if not.

Jarvis Landry catches two passes in exhibition against the Eagles.
The fourth-year receiver had 49 yards, including a long of 32 yards. He looks like the same Landry we’ve seen in the league, a reliable receiver that also has some big play ability and is very hard to bring down. Jay Cutler took a shot deep to Landry in the first quarter, but Landry wasn’t quite able to catch up to it. This season, Landry should have a high floor as someone that is averaging 1,000 yards and nearly 100 catches per season in his first three season in the NFL.

Kenny Stills catches two passes in Dolphins’ third preseason game.
Stills had 18 yards on his two receptions, but his best play was when he drew a pass interference penalty on a long deep ball to the end zone, setting up the Dolphins at the one-yard line where they would punch it in for a touchdown. Stills will have his share of big plays this season, but he’ll likely frustrate if you put him in your fantasy lineup every week.

Damien Williams gets four carries in Week 3 of the preseason.
Williams had four carries for -1 yards and worked behind Jay Ajayi and Kenyan Drake. While he’ll contribute in real life to the Dolphins, it doesn’t look like Williams will be much help for your fantasy team in 2017 as long as Ajayi and Drake are healthy.

Kenyan Drake works as Dolphins’ number two running back in preseason game.
After starter Jay Ajayi played about a quarter, Drake took over and carried four times for 21 yards along with two receptions for two yards. It’s good to see Drake out there after he was cleared of a concussion earlier in the week. He appears to be the clear backup behind Ajayi, so Ajayi owners should grab him if they are looking for a handcuff for their running back.

Rookie Christian McCaffrey flashes again in third week of the preseason.
The Panthers running back had seven carries for 21 yards and one reception for 12 yards in the exhibition abasing Jacksonville. The 12-yard reception was one of Cam Newton’s two passes in his lone series, so that’s good Newton looked his way. McCaffrey again showed off his excellent vision and athleticism, making great cuts while accelerating through the line of scrimmage. Jonathan Stewart also played well, and the two will look to form one-two punch in the backfield in 2017. While McCaffrey is very impressive, his ADP has moved up to the top 30—you’re going to have to pay to get him. If you’re going off talent alone, McCaffrey is worth a pick in the first three rounds. However, he’s in a shared backfield and might not be able to live up to his draft slot if Stewart remains a big part of the offense.

Jonathan Stewart looks great in Panthers’ third preseason game.
Cam Newton (shoulder) was back in the lineup for the dress rehearsal exhibition against Jacksonville, but the Panthers pounded the ball to open the game. Stewart started in the backfield and had five carries for 39 yards in the game, while also adding a three-yard reception. Stewart broke tackles and looks to run with a lot of juice, especially on his 31-yard run on the opening drive. While talented rookie Christian McCaffrey is certainly going to get his share of work, Stewart has played well in shared backfields in the past and performed. He’s not a bad selection at his current ADP near the double-digit rounds.
