Allen Robinson gets peppered with ten targets in second preseason game.

Jacksonville’s number one receiver caught five-of-ten targets for 40 yards. The Jaguars starters played into the third quarter, as Chad Henne got time with the first-team offense, and that included Robinson. A-Rob was open on a deep ball that Blake Bortles missed in the first half, but Robinson also dropped a touchdown on a perfect throw from Henne in the third quarter. Robinson offers very good upside, but there’s also risk in selecting him in the early-mid rounds, as shown last season.

J.J. Nelson catches one pass in Week 1 of the preseason.

The reception was for 12 yards. The speedster Nelson will be one of Arizona’s top four receivers in 2017.

Sam Bradford targets Stefon Diggs five times in preseason game against the Seahawks.

Diggs caught four-of-five targets for 65 yards, including a long of 39 yards. The third-year receiver made a very tough catch on a third-down when he took a hit from Earl Thomas on a slant route but held on. Diggs also ran a nice wheel route from the slot to get open for his long reception in the game. With a year of experience with Bradford as his quarterback, the combination will look to be more explosive this season.

Chris Johnson carries three times for two yards in Week 1 of the preseason.

Johnson got some work early in the game with the first-team after David Johnson exited. CJ appears to be the clear lead backup to DJ.

Chris Godwin caught two passes for 30 yards in the team’s second preseason game.

Both receptions went for 15 yards, as Godwin played some with the first-team offense, but was still in for the second half. We will keep advising people to try to get him in dynasty leagues, but a big-time impact as a rookie seems unlikely for Godwin as long as the rest of the wideouts are healthy.

Brittan Golden catches touchdown in opening series of preseason win against Oakland.

Carson Palmer and many of the starters played, but Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown did not. Golden took advantage and capped Arizona’s first drive with a touchdown on a dig route. Golden also added a 26-yard reception in the game. Look for the 29-year-old to chip in on offense this season for the Cards.

Sam Bradford goes 7/11 for 95 yards in exhibition against the Seahawks.

Bradford and the Vikings starters played nearly two whole quarters before exiting the game. As usual, Bradford threw the ball accurately, including when he stepped into a deep throw to Stefon Diggs down the sideline when he knew he was going to get hit. Bradford and the rest of the starters might play into the second half in Thursday’s third preseason game against San Francisco.
