Join now >Adam Schefter reports LeGarrette Blount's tender is worth up to $2.1 million.
This would be about double what Blount made last season with New England. By offering this tender to Blount, which prevents him from signing with another team if he doesn't sign by July 22, it makes it unlikely Blount is able to join a team that sustains an injury at the running back position, unless something happens in training before now and then. Blount could certainly be back with the Patriots next season.

An Ezekiel Elliott decision will not come today, according to Adam Schefter.
Yesterday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on SiriusXM NFL Radio that he believed a decision might be “imminent,” but that doesn’t appear to be the case. It’s very unlikely the NFL announces any decision over the weekend, so we’ll probably have to wait until next week for a decision. Though, the NFL seems to be in no rush to announce anything, despite the investigation reportedly being done—so the wait could still go on for weeks. Ideally, the Cowboys would get a decision on their star running back soon so they know what they need to do to prepare for the beginning of the year.

John Brown will miss at least a couple days with a quad injury.
Bruce Arians said Brown has a quad injury and could miss “maybe a week.” Arians hopes to get him back for the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday. Brown injured the quad going for a deep pass in the end zone and had initially thought it was a cramp, but Arians says it’s a “mild strain.” Hopefully it’s just a one-time thing this year and Brown can get better and stay healthy, as he’s dealt with leg muscle injuries in the past.

Josh Gordon has had his petition for reinstatement denied by the NFL, according to Tom Pelissero.
The thought was that Gordon would be reinstated, but that's apparently not the case. Perhaps his actions on social media, like essentially saying his current team, the Browns, are trash (with the use of trash emojis), contributed to the NFL's decision. Gordon will be able to appeal this fall, but he probably needs to show he's a model citizen before the NFL gives him another chance. It's a shame for the Browns, as Gordon seemed to be working hard in terms of getting in great shape. This means Corey Coleman and Kenny Britt will be the Browns' top two receivers this season; they both have upside of over 1,000 yards.

Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry is expected to play out the final year of his contract, according to Tom Pelissero.
Pelissero reports the Dolphins have not made a contract offer to Landry and notes the team did this with Kiko Alonso, Kenny Stills, and Andre Branch (who all re-signed with the team) last year. However, with the offense running through Jay Ajayi and the running game, along with DeVante Parker looking to emerge as a number one receiver on the outside, it wouldn’t be surprise to see Landry hit free agency after the year. The Dolphins can always franchise tag him, though. It looks like we’ll have to wait and see how this season goes. Landry has a whopping 288 receptions through three season, while increasing his yards per catch each year.

Broncos receiver Cody Latimer releases statement after TMZ video was released.
TMZ released a video of Latimer in a disagreement with bouncers, where it appears he gives a bouncer a light slap before getting pepper sprayed. Latimer's statement says the event occurred on February 20 and "is in the past." Latimer also said in the statement that "it's unfortunate that something form six months ago that didn't result in anything all of a sudden becomes a big story." The fourth-year receiver said he already talked to head coach Vance Joseph and the team about this, and he looks forward to working hard for training camp and the season. This was months in the past and it doesn't appear anything will come of it in terms of league discipline. Latimer will compete to make the Broncos in camp.
