Join now >Kevin Bowen of Colts.com isn't sure if Andrew Luck has started throwing yet.
The team is currently away until July 29 when training camp begins, so it's possible Luck has began throwing but the team is keeping it quiet. Given the conservative approach they've taken to the rehab, Luck probably just hasn't thrown yet. As Bowen notes, Jim Irsay has indicated he expects his franchise quarterback to be ready for Week 1, but he's going to have to be ready to throw at some point during training camp. If at all possible, you should be drafting your fantasy team at the end of the preseason—by then everything should be cleared up regarding Luck's status.

John Keim of ESPN does not think a long-term deal will get done between Kirk Cousins and the Redskins.
The two sides have one week (July 17 is the deadline) to come to an agreement, and most reports have been pessimistic that anything gets done. The lack of a long-term deal shouldn't have much of an impact on Cousins' play this season, and gaining chemistry with his new starting receivers after DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon left in free agency is the biggest concern. Cousins should be a solid QB1 for the third straight year, not matter his contract situation.

The Eagles receivers are in North Dakota to work out with Carson Wentz.
Multiple reports say all the team's receivers are in the second-year quarterback's hometown to workout before training camp. It's great to see these guys take the trip up to North Dakota because they want to get better. For a team trying to have a breakout season, these player-scheduled workouts are a positive step in that direction. For fantasy purposes, this has to be seen as a positive. Alshon Jeffery is on a one-year deal and is likely to be the number one guy this season, but Nelson Agholor is a deep sleeper candidate as he enters his third season. Jeffery's ADP is currently around the end of the third round in fantasy drafts.

Ameer Abdullah "isn't expected to get a whole lot of goal line carries."
Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official team site mentioned how the team wants to get Abdullah 200+ carries this season, but identified Theo Riddick and lack of goal line work could impact his fantasy value. Still, Twentyman expects Abdullah to be an RB2 with potential for more. He's a solid target in the middle rounds as a big-play running back that should get around 15+ touches per game.

Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website is "impressed" with Derrick Henry.
Wyatt writes that Henry "looks faster, and there's no doubt he's hungry" in his second season. If Henry performs well when on the field (which is likely), Wyatt thinks he could earn some more time behind DeMarco Murray, who has been talked of as a workhorse still by head coach Mike Mularkey. Henry, who missed the start of offseason training while going to school at Alabama, has gotten all positive reviews this offseason despite the missed time; he no doubt trained hard in Alabama's weight room and showed up in great shape. Henry could end up being one of the better FLEX options this season, and he might be the best handcuff in the league.

Todd Gurley says he's "definitely been loving" the Rams' new offense.
Gurley was on SiriusXM NFL and was optimistic about the new offense. Of course Gurley wasn't going to say he hates the new offense, but he's probably excited about this season after he struggled to get going in 2016. The third-year back also said he thought his former head coach Jeff Fisher did a good job last seaosn, but they kept falling behind and couldn't run the ball. In Sean McVay's offense, Gurley is likely to receive a lot of carries, but the offensive line needs to play a lot better for Gurley to be an elite RB1 again.

Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official team site thinks the team might use a RBBC this season.
Mink wrote that the Ravens "could employ a three-headed monster this season" in the backfield, with Terrance West, Danny Woodhead, and Kenneth Dixon. It's easy to predict roles to start the season, as West is likely to get a lot of early down work and Woodhead should take almost all the passing downs while Kenneth Dixon is suspended for four games. When Dixon returns, the situation could become murky for fantasy purposes. The team is high on the second-year back Dixon, but if West plays lights out to open the season he could runaway with a feature role. Woodhead is likely the safest of the Ravens running backs (especially in PPR leagues), with a clear role on third downs.
