Join now >Demaryius Thomas says Paxton Lynch was "lighting it up" in the last two weeks of offseason training.
Mike Klis recorded DT talking at his youth football camp. Thomas said Trevor Siemian has been a steady performer, while Lynch lit it up towards the end causing Thomas to be "like woah." The second-year quarterback with great tools will look to continue to progress throughout training camp and heading into the season. According to Klis, Thomas said that "about a week and a half into camp" is when he'd like the quarterback battle to be over. While Thomas probably wants as many reps as possible with the opening day starter, his head coach Vance Joseph has said he isn't going to rush the competition. It's a toss up between Lynch and Siemian right now. Lynch probably offers more upside in fantasy leagues.

Brandon Marshall posts video of him and Eli Manning on FaceTime to discuss the offense.
The new Giants receiver posted on Instagram a clip of the discussion with his new quarterback. They seemed to be talking about timing on certain routes, and Marshall told Eli he'd like to get on some more calls with him. Marshall has reportedly been a great teammate since his arrival, with head coach Ben McAdoo calling him "a breath of fresh air." Hopefully the veteran receiver can be a positive influence on the ultra talented but immature Odell Beckham Jr. Marshall looks to be working hard to acclimate to his new team, and he could put up big numbers in his first season with the Giants, as a big target for Eli Manning.

Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com thinks Jeremy Hill will still have a solid role this season.
After the team drafted the very talented Joe Mixon in the second round of the draft, some thought Hill would be phased out of the offense and possibly even traded. But Hobson thinks Hill will be "far from invisible" this season, as he's a talented runner and the only 1,000-yard rusher on the roster. Hobson also projects Hill (who has 29 rushing touchdowns through three seasons) to get a lot of work near the goal line. Hill has 222, 223, and 222 carries in his first three seasons, with the best year coming in his 1,124-yard, 5.1-yard-per-carry rookie season. The big back also didn't fumble at all last season, showing the worked hard on ball security after the 2015 season. The Bengals have three really good running backs, and it's difficult to project their fantasy value before training camp.

Chargers tight ends coach John McNulty talks up Hunter Henry.
McNulty spoke with the team's official website and said the second-year tight has "rare awareness and savvy for someone his age." The TE coach also said that Henry's biggest asset might be his ball skills, which helped him lead tight ends with eight touchdowns as a rookie last season. Hunter is said to be a "hard worker" and McNulty thinks he "has a great future ahead of him." Future Hall of Famer Antonio Gates is still with the team, but Henry could be a solid TE1 this season with upside for more.

Appearing on SiriusXM NFL Radio, David Johnson said he feels like he's "learning so much" mentally.
Johnson said again that he's 100% from his Week 17 knee injury and feels "great." There are no concerns about his injury, and DJ took up yoga this offseason to make himself less stiff and more flexible—something that should help him in both injury prevention and just being a better player. During the SiriusXM interview, Johnson against stated a personal goal of his is 1,000 yards both rushing and receiving in a season, something that he might be able to reach this season. It's hard not to like the Cardinals' ever-important running back as a top three fantasy pick.

ESPN's Jeff Legwold isn't sure Cody Latimer will make the Broncos final roster.
There is a lot of competition at the receiver spot for the Broncos, which is a great thing. Head coach Vance Joseph said that receivers Bennie Fowler, Jordan Taylor, and Latimer all "had a hell of a camp." The Broncos have Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders locked in as the top two receivers, and they also drafted Carlos Henderson and Isaiah McKenzie in the third- and fifth-rounds of this past draft. Legwold thinks Latimer "might have one of the hottest seats" as he tries to make the team. Latimer was a second-round pick in 2014 and is still only 24-years-old, but he's going to need to play well throughout training camp and the preseason to remain on the team that drafted him.

Dorial Green-Beckham cleared waivers, according to Adam Schefter.
This isn't a surprise, as no team wanted to pick up his second-round contract after he went through two teams in two years in the league. DGB is now an unrestricted free agent and can sign with anyone. Teams will be interested, but he might find it difficult to get much guaranteed money on the deal. We'll see who takes a chance on the former high school phenom.
