Join now >Saints receiver Michael Thomas has put on ten pounds without losing speed or quickness.
Thomas is up from 210 pounds last season to 220 pounds now. He also says he's been working hard to polish his game. Last season, Thomas stepped right in and performed as one of the top receivers in the league while setting Saints rookie records in catches (92), yards (1,137), and receiving touchdowns (nine). With Brandin Cooks in New England, Thomas is the clear number one receiver for New Orleans. He offers a very high floor, and does have some good upside, although the Saints like to spread the ball around and they added Adrian Peterson, so they could run the ball more than past years.

Adrian Peterson wants to continue playing as he approaches 40-years-old.
Peterson said "37" would be "a good number," according to The New Orleans Advocate. "Approaching 40." AD has been getting rave reviews from Saints teammates and coaches, with talk making it sound like he's someone in his prime. Peterson also admitted he does have a chip on his shoulder, and that he was doubted when he was 30 then led the league and rushing, and he anticipates that (doubters) happening until he retires. Fixed minded people will continue to doubt Peterson and say it's impossible, but don't be surprised if he plays another few years at a high level.

Adam Schefter reports that Eric Decker is medically cleared from his shoulder and hip injuries.
This is great news, as Decker has been wearing a non-contact jersey throughout OTAs so far. Decker is openly on the trade block, but he might just end up getting released by the Jets. Decker's shoulder and hip probably won't affect other team's interest in him if he's fully healthy, as Schefter reports.

Rams receiver Robert Woods said he is "trying to be the No. 1 receiver," the Los Angeles Times reports.
Woods is reportedly "making an impression" on the Rams, and is forming a connection with quarterback Jared Goff. The Rams certainly paid Woods like a number one receiver, giving him a five-year, $34 million contract to come to LA. The Rams are suddenly pretty deep at receiver and tight end, with Woods and Tavon Austin being the most-established targets. Woods has a chance at 1,000 yards this season. He'll also contribute as a willing run blocker for the offense.

Kimberly Jones says the Giants "like" quarterback Geno Smith.
Smith is seven months removed from his ACL tear, and he's participating in seven-on-seven in Giants' OTAs. Smith has a good skillset for Ben McAdoo's offense, and he reportedly looks good so far. Remember, Smith faced some unusual circumstances with the Jets, but he played pretty well when he was on the field. While the Giants drafted Davis Webb in the third round of the draft, Smith cannot be discounted as a possible replacement for whenever Eli Manning retires.

Cardinals running back David Johnson says his knee is fully healthy.
Johnson suffered what looked like a potentially bad knee injury in Week 17 last season, but he's had no issues recovering and is 100%. On SiriusXM NFL, the Cardinals' workhorse said he's willing to touch the ball as much as head coach Bruce Arians wants him to, whether it's on the ground or through the air. The third year back also said he wants to gain 1,000 yards both rushing and receiving, something that seems to be a major goal of his. Johnson will no doubt get one of the biggest workloads in the NFL this season, and he's without question a top three running back in 2017 fantasy drafts.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer returned to the Vikings impressed with Teddy Bridgewater’s recovery.
Zimmer missed a couple weeks after undergoing another eye procedure, so he was away from the team and didn’t see Bridgewater everday. The Vikings head coach said he returned and the improvements have been noticeable to Zimmer, saying that Bridgewater is moving “quite a bit better” than when he last saw him, in his opinion. Zimmer also said that Bridgewater is “very impatient” and wants to get back on the field, which is understandable. But the Vikings aren’t going to let him be full-go until he’s 100% recovered. Don’t be surprised if it happens at some point before the regular season, but Sam Bradford is getting a full offseason with the team and will be the starter this season.
