Join now >Denzel Mims has returned to the Jets.
Head coach Adam Gase says Mims is back after dealing with a personal issue, so it’s good to hear he’s back with the team. Mims missed just one game.

Jakeem Grant (hamstring) is week-to-week, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This news probably makes Grant doubtful to face the Patriots next Sunday, and after that will also be up in the air. Miami is extremely thin on offense with multiple running backs out, as well as DeVante Parker (leg) and Mike Gesicki (shoulder) also going down yesterday; they might need to win a slugfest next week against New England.

The Jaguars are starting Gardner Minhew.
After Minshew was injured/benched earlier this season, the second-year quarterback will again lead the team for Week 15 against the Ravens. Minshew in the lineup should be entertaining, and he’ll look to put good work on film for the new Jaguars regime—or for another team that might look to trade for him—set to come in this offseason.

The “hope” is that Christian McCaffrey (quad/shoulder) will play in Week 15.
This is according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. While this might be considered speculation, it’s still a positive that there’s a least some hope that McCaffrey will play this Saturday against the Packers. Perhaps there’ll be more clarity on the star runner’s status when the Panthers hit the practice field tomorrow.

Brandon Allen is dealing with a bone bruise in his knee, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The hope is that Allen will be OK, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Bengals turned to Ryan Finley next week with their current starter not at full strength.

Alex Smith is dealing with a calf strain, according to multiple reports.
Smith’s injury is being described as “minor” after X-rays were negative, which is great to hear. The veteran quarterback should have a good chance to be ready for Week 15 against the Seahawks.

Matthew Stafford (ribs) is officially questionable to return for the Lions.
While Stafford is officially being called questionable, it does not look like he’ll return with under four minutes remaining against the Packers. Before leaving, Stafford was 24/34 for 244 yards and a touchdown.
