News of the reigning NFL MVP testing positive—to continue the outbreak in Baltimore—apparently has Sunday’s postponed game in jeopardy, but at the very least, Jackson will be ineligible to play this week. The game being canceled this week altogether would likely kick in the new rule that creates a Week 18 and adds an eighth playoff team, which is something that a) helps the postseason chances for the Ravens, and b) eliminates any chance of the 10-0 Steelers having a first-round bye; that obviously is unfair, and a straight forfeiture wouldn’t be a surprise if the game can’t be played in Week 12.

Larry Fitzgerald has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Week 12, according to NFL Network.
Even if the test turns out to be a false positive, there isn’t enough time for Fitzgerald to get cleared by Sunday. This news will lead to more snaps for Andy Isabella, and we could also see Chase Edmonds have an expanded role in the passing game.

D’Andre Swift (concussion) is officially inactive for Week 12.
This is unfortunate for the dynamic rookie runner, who will not get to play in his first Thanksgiving game today. Swift is making progress through the concussion protocol, but he’s not quite ready to get full clearance for today. Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson will lead the Detroit backfield versus Houston.

Giovani Bernard is in concussion protocol.
Bernard did not practice today and now has a few days to get cleared for Sunday against the Giants. Bernard was not placed in concussion protocol during Week 11, so it seems he may have gotten symptoms in the past couple of days. Hopefully the veteran running back is feeling better soon. Samaje Perine would suddenly be a solid fantasy option if Bernard were to miss this week.

D’Andre Swift (concussion) is officially questionable for Week 12.
Ideally, the rookie runner would have already been cleared, but entering the protocol in the middle of last week could have him in danger of missing another game. If so, Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson would both be quality FLEX options in a good matchup. Swift will be a low-end RB1 if he plays.

Danny Amendola (hip) has been ruled out for Week 12.
Amendola will join Kenny Golladay (hip) on the sideline for the second week in a row, leaving Marvin Hall, Mohamed Sanu, and others to step up behind Marvin Jones. The Lions will hope to at least get a boost from D’Andre Swift (concussion, questionable) returning tomorrow.

Kenny Golladay (hip) has been ruled out for Week 12.
Golladay—who has been out since Week 9—will hopefully be good to go after the mini bye for Detroit, but that is far from a guarantee, especially with the team potentially sitting at 4-7 if they lose to the Texans. Danny Amendola (hip) is also out this week, so Matthew Stafford’s supporting cast is again going to be significantly weakened.
