Devonta Freeman (ankle) is officially questionable to return for the Giants.

It’s unclear when Freeman was hurt, but we’re now into the fourth quarter, so we’ll see if the veteran runner is able to return tonight.

Keenan Allen (back) officially remains limited in practice.

Again, Allen is expected to be fine for Sunday against the Jaguars, but we’ll see how he’s listed on the final Week 7 injury report when it’s out tomorrow.

Sterling Shepard (foot) is active for Thursday night.

Shepard was activated from injury reserve earlier today, and he’s good to go tonight against the Eagles. Shepard carries risk as a FLEX option in his first game back in the lineup after missing the last four games.

Michael Thomas (ankle/hamstring) officially did not practice today.

After Thomas apparently tweaked his hamstring in yesterday’s practice, it’s not looking good for him to make his return to the lineup this Sunday against the Panthers. We’ll see how Thomas is listed on the final Week 7 injury report tomorrow, but he appears to be on the doubtful side of things.

Joe Mixon (foot) officially did not practice today.

There is some definite cause for concern regarding Mixon’s Week 7 status, but hopefully he’s able to end the week with at least a limited practice tomorrow. Mixon was able to finish last week’s game while dealing with his foot issue, so hopefully he’s just giving it a rest during practice this week.

Noah Fant (ankle) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.

Fant was limited to start the week, so this is a strong indication that his ankle close to full strength after he missed one game due to the injury. We expect Fant will be good to go for Sunday agains the Chiefs, but we’ll let you know if he’s listed on the final Week 7 injury report when it’s out tomorrow.

The Giants activated Sterling Shepard (foot) from injured reserve.

This was expected, and now the Giants will work out Shepard in pregame tonight to determine if he’s ready to face the Eagles. The actives and inactives will be out 90 minutes before tonight’s 8:20 ET kickoff.
