Join now >Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of tonight’s game.
The crazy injury night for the Bucs continues, as Fournette joins Chris Godwin (knee) and Mike Evans (hamstring) as being out for the night. Fournette’s Week 15 ends with nine carries for 34 rushing yards and seven receptions for 33 receiving yards. Hopefully Fournette is able to return for Week 16. Tampa Bay will look to get something going without three of its top players down 6-0 in the middle of the third quarter to New Orleans.

Chris Godwin (knee) has officially been ruled out for the rest of tonight.
Mike Evans (hamstring) is also officially done for the night as the Bucs begin the second half of their Week 15 Sunday night matchup with the Saints. Before leaving, Godwin had six receptions for 49 yards. Now, Tampa Bay is down to three healthy receivers down 6-0 to a Saints defense that’s gotten after Tom Brady. Hopefully Godwin, who was at least able to jog around on the sideline earlier despite taking what looked like a serious hit to the knee, doesn’t miss much more time past tonight.

Mike Evans (hamstring) is officially doubtful to return for the Buccaneers.
Evans appeared to be injured while going up for a nice reception on a crossing route, and it looks like he’ll be done for the Week 15 Sunday night matchup against the Saints and nemesis Marshon Lattimore. Before leaving, Evans caught one pass for 14 yards in about a quarter and a half. We’ll update you if he happens to return tonight despite the doubtful designation.

Chris Godwin (knee) is officially questionable to return for the Buccaneers.
Godwin took a hard hit to the knee and it did not look good at all, but thankfully it does not appear as serious as it looked, as he’s been jogging around on the sidelines after getting examined in the blue medical tent. Mike Evans is simultaneously being called doubtful to return for Tampa Bay after leaving shortly after, so the Bucs could really use Godwin back in the lineup. Godwin is one of the league’s toughest players, so if he’ll do what he can to get back out there.

Joe Mixon leaves game with apparent leg injury.
Mixon appeared to have his knee rolled up a bit. He was an immediate pain and then tried to get up before going back down on the ground. With just a few minutes remaining in the Week 15 matchup at Denver, it looks like Mixon’s afternoon is done. Before leaving, he had 17 carries for 58 yards and one reception for two yards. There should be more word on the extent of his injury sometime tonight or tomorrow.

Teddy Bridgewater is getting carted off against the Bengals.
Bridgewater is getting taken off on a stretcher, and this obviously doesn’t look good. He’s out for the rest of Week 15, and now we have to hope this isn’t too serious. Before leaving, Bridgewater was 12/22 for 98 yards alone with three carries for ten yards. Drew Lock is now in the game with Denver down 9-3 to Cincinnati in the third quarter.

Sterling Shepard suffered a torn Achilles.
This was the fear when Shepard went down at the end of today’s loss to the Cowboys, and the Giants quickly confirmed that is a torn Achilles for Shepard, who is now facing a lengthy recovery. Shepard dealt with a ton of lower-body injuries this season, and he was limited to just seven games. He caught 36 passes for 366 yards and one touchdown. We wish him luck on his return and look forward to seeing him on the field at some point in 2022.
