Matt Breida (ankle) is officially listed as doubtful for Week 12.

The 49ers are holding out some hope that the durable Breida will be able to play through his ankle injury, but he’ll likely be ruled out for his second consecutive game on Sunday night.

Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) is officially listed as questionable for Week 12.

This is looking like it might be a similar situation to last week, when Sanders gave it a go but dealt with pain and did not play a full slate of snaps. The veteran receiver will still be a FLEX option if he’s active on Sunday night, but check back to ensure that he’s active.

George Kittle (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday night.

Kittle was able to get back on the practice field yesterday, and he looks to be in good shape for Sunday night against the Packers. The All-Pro tight end really wants to play in a critical game, but it ultimately won’t be totally up to him whether he suits up for the Week 12 matchup. Just be sure to have a backup plan from the Sunday night or Monday game, but you should be able to put Kittle in your lineup this week.

Adrian Peterson (toe) is officially listed as questionable for Week 12.

Peterson did not practice the first two days of the week before practicing on a limited basis today. Redskins interim head coach Bill Callahan says he expects AD to play against the Lions, and we would be surprised if the future Hall of Famer is not active on Sunday. Check back for Peterson’s official status at 11:30 AM ET on gameday.

Chris Thompson (toe) is officially listed as questionable for Week 12.

Thompson was limited in practice all week and looks to have a shot to return to the lineup this Sunday against the Lions, but the one-win Redskins are not going to rush Thompson back from the turf toe. Thompson’s status will be known at 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.

The Redskins are placing Vernon Davis on injured reserve.

Davis has been dealing with a concussion for several weeks, and his season is now over. The veteran tight end had ten receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown in four games. We hope Davis is feeling OK and can get back to his usual self soon. Even at 36 this January, Davis certainly has the athleticism to continue playing if he wants.

Julian Edelman (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

Edelman has been banged up this season, but it would be a major surprise if he’s not out there for Week 12 against the Cowboys.
