Join now >D’Andre Swift (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for Week 13.
Jamaal Williams will lead the Lions backfield this week against the Vikings. Swift was called day-to-day after the shoulder injury suffered on Thanksgiving, but the second-year running back can probably be considered week-to-week. Detroit won’t want to rush him back if he’s at less than 100%.

Antonio Brown has been suspended three games for violating the NFL-NFLPA COVID protocols.
Brown is already set to miss the next two games because of his ankle injury, but now fantasy owners can expect to not have him for an additional game beyond that—leaving his earliest return date at Week 16. The determination was that AB misrepresented his vaccination status, so the league must have investigated and found he did indeed have a fake vaccination card—and teammate Mike Edwards is also being suspended three games for the same reason. Tampa Bay’s passing attack will continue playing through Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Rob Gronkowski until the day after Christmas when Brown is eligible to return.

Alvin Kamara (knee) will not play tonight, according to NFL Network.
New Orleans will also be without starting offensive tackles Terron Armstead and Ryan Ramczyk, so the offense will be far less than full strength for Taysom Hill’s first start of 2021. The Kamara news in particular is disappointing with a return seeming hopeful, but he’ll now miss his fourth game in a row, and Mark Ingram is back on the RB2 map. There would seem to be a decent chance Kamara is also out in Week 14 against the Jets before returning against Tampa Bay.

The Seahawks are signing Adrian Peterson to the practice squad.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll announced the news at his Wednesday press conference. While Peterson will start on the practice squad, the full expectation is that he’ll be called up to the active roster when he’s comfortable in the offense. It’s interesting that the future Hall of Famer will be playing for two different teams this season after a short stint with the Titans. Peterson is 367 rushing yards from Barry Sanders for fourth on the all-time rushing list.

Amari Cooper (COVID-19) is listed as questionable for Week 13.
Cooper traveling to New Orleans should have him set to return on Thursday night, but his status can’t be taken for granted, and there is a chance he has a limited workload in his first game back. Either way, Michael Gallup gets a boost into the low-end WR2/FLEX ranks, and CeeDee Lamb should be an upside WR1 play against the Saints.

Mark Ingram will play tomorrow night.
Ingram carries no injury designation for the Week 13 Thursday night matchup against the Cowboys after missing Thanksgiving Night against the Bills last week. Ingram was a full participant in practice all week, so he should be full go versus Dallas.

Alvin Kamara (knee) is questionable for Week 13.
The thought had been that Kamara would be good to go, but that’s not quite as certain as hoped, and New Orleans superstar back is in danger of missing his fourth game in a row. If he plays, we would feel good about Kamara as a top-five option barring news about a limited workload; if not, Mark Ingram would be back on the RB2 map with no injury designation after missing Week 12.
