Hunter Henry | Patriots TE

Hunter Henry is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This would be great news for Henry, but it sounds like the Chargers are still gathering information to determine the exact severity and timeline for his tibia plateau fracture. If it’s a four-to-six week timeframe, Henry will probably avoid injured reserve, but an IR with a return as a designated-to-return player is also a possibility.

Cody Latimer | Free Agent WR

Cody Latimer (calf) officially did not practice today.

Latimer was not listed on the injury report yesterday, but he’s suddenly popped up with a calf injury. The Giants are decimated at receiver, and Latimer’s Week 2 status is now in doubt after his calf issue. We’ll see how he’s listed on the final injury report when it’s released tomorrow.

DeSean Jackson | Retired WR

DeSean Jackson catches two long touchdowns in Week 1.

Jackson caught eight passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns in his first game back with the Eagles against his former Redskins team. Philadelphia made an effort to feature Jackson, probably trying to get him the ball early to avoid the flamboyant receiver from causing any early issues for the team. Jackson’s touchdowns were for 51 yards and 53 yards, both on deep balls. There are a ton of weapons on the Eagles offense, but look for defenses to focus on Jackson more moving forward after this performance—which could open things up for everyone else. The veteran receiver is a FLEX option for Week 2 at Atlanta.

Trey Burton | Free Agent TE

Trey Burton (groin) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

Burton remained limited in today’s practice to end the week. He’s probably a true gametime call, but he’ll be difficult to trust in fantasy lineups if he’s active for the Week 2 matchup with Denver.

9/13/19 - 02:42 PM ET

Albert Wilson | Free Agent WR

Albert Wilson (hip/calf) officially did not practice today.

Wilson is coming off the calf injury from Week 1, and he’s still listed with the hip injury from last season, so his Week 2 status isn’t looking great right now. We’ll see if he’s able to get out on the practice field in a limited capacity tomorrow.

9/11/19 - 03:13 PM ET

Sterling Shepard | Buccaneers WR

Sterling Shepard (concussion) remains out of practice.

Shepard is running out of time to get cleared for Sunday, as it appears he has not progressed in concussion protocol enough to participate in practice on a limited basis. It’s possible the Giants just go ahead and rule Shepard out tomorrow if he’s unable to get a limited practice in.

9/12/19 - 03:06 PM ET

Marquise Brown | Chiefs WR

Marquise Brown explodes in NFL debut.

Brown caught four passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns in Baltimore’s 59-10 victory at Miami, and his first two receptions were long touchdowns—the first was a 47-yarder on a catch-and-run slant, and the second was on an 83-yard deep ball down the middle of the field. “Hollywood” Brown became the first player in NFL history with two 40+ yard touchdowns in his first game. While this came against a Dolphins team that couldn’t have played much worse, it’s good to see Brown’s gamebreaking ability immediately shine after the Ravens took him in the first round of this year’s draft. Brown gets a promising Week 2 matchup against the Cardinals next Sunday.
