2020 Fantasy Football Mock Draft 7.0 (16-Team, Full PPR)

The second-to-last fantasy football mock draft of the year (using the FantasyPros draft simulator) will be for a 16-team, full PPR league.

Mock 1.0: 12-team, 0.5 PPR

Mock 2.0: 14-team Superflex, 0.5 PPR

Mock 3.0: 10-team, Full PPR

Mock 4.0: 12-team QB Premium, Non-PPR

Mock 5.0: 10-team, 0.5 PPR

Mock 6.0: 12-team, Full PPR Auction

Round 1

1.01: Christian McCaffrey, CAR RB
1.02: Saquon Barkley, NYG RB
1.03: Ezekiel Elliott, DAL RB
1.04: Alvin Kamara, NO RB
1.05: Dalvin Cook, MIN RB
1.06: Derrick Henry, TEN RB
1.07: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, KC RB
1.08: Kenyan Drake, ARI RB
1.09: Michael Thomas, NO WR
1.10: Miles Sanders, PHI RB
1.11: Davante Adams, GB WR
1.12: Nick Chubb, CLE RB
1.13: Austin Ekeler, LAC RB
1.14: Josh Jacobs, LV RB
1.15: Joe Mixon, CIN RB
1.16: Julio Jones, ATL WR

Thoughts: Edwards-Helaire was the easy pick for me in a PPR league, and you could maybe make a case for him as high as No. 3 overall. It was interesting to see Kenyan Drake go in the top eight.

Round 2

2.01: Tyreek Hill, KC WR
2.02: Travis Kelce, KC TE
2.03: Aaron Jones, GB RB
2.04: Leonard Fournette, JAX RB
2.05: DeAndre Hopkins, ARI WR
2.06: Chris Godwin, TB WR
2.07: Mike Evans, TB WR
2.08: George Kittle, SF TE
2.09: James Conner, PIT RB
2.10: Patrick Mahomes, KC QB
2.11: Allen Robinson, CHI WR
2.12: Kenny Golladay, DET WR
2.13: D.J. Moore, CAR WR
2.14: Melvin Gordon, DEN RB
2.15: Adam Thielen, MIN WR
2.16: Amari Cooper, DAL WR

Thoughts: I hadn’t planned to target Mahomes in the second round, but he was the best value on the board, and now I have a great stack for a big league like this one and won’t have to worry about a long wait for a potential quarterback target later.

Round 3

3.01: JuJu Smith-Schuster, PIT WR
3.02: Courtland Sutton, DEN WR
3.03: Zach Ertz, PHI TE
3.04: Todd Gurley, ATL RB
3.05: Odell Beckham Jr., CLE WR
3.06: David Johnson, HOU RB
3.07: Chris Carson, SEA RB
3.08: Jonathan Taylor, IND RB
3.09: A.J. Brown, TEN WR
3.10: Calvin Ridley, ATL WR
3.11: Lamar Jackson, BAL QB
3.12: Tyler Lockett, SEA WR
3.13: Mark Andrews, BAL TE
3.14: Robert Woods, LAR WR
3.15: Cooper Kupp, LAR WR
3.16: Terry McLaurin, WAS WR

Thoughts: I honestly don’t feel great about this pick and would have loved for Todd Gurley or David Johnson to be there, but Carson at least provides a solid rushing floor.

Round 4

4.01: Darren Waller, LV TE
4.02: D.J. Chark, JAX WR
4.03: Le’Veon Bell, NYJ RB
4.04: Tyler Boyd, CIN WR
4.05: D’Andre Swift, DET RB
4.06: Devin Singletary, BUF RB
4.07: T.Y. Hilton, IND WR
4.08: David Montgomery, CHI RB
4.09: D.K. Metcalf, SEA WR
4.10: Keenan Allen, LAC WR
4.11: DeVante Parker, MIA WR
4.12: Cam Akers, LAR RB
4.13: Dak Prescott, DAL QB
4.14: Mark Ingram, BAL RB
4.15: Raheem Mostert, SF RB
4.16: Ronald Jones II, TB RB

Thoughts: Allen was clearly the top wideout on the board at this point, as he should remain a big factor in the Los Angeles offense despite a shift to more of a conservative attack.

Round 5

5.01: Jarvis Landry, CLE WR
5.02: Kareem Hunt, CLE RB
5.03: Julian Edelman, NE WR
5.04: A.J. Green, CIN WR
5.05: Kerryon Johnson, DET RB
5.06: Stefon Diggs, BUF WR
5.07: Michael Gallup, DAL WR
5.08: Marquise Brown, BAL WR
5.09: Phillip Lindsay, DEN RB
5.10: Deshaun Watson, HOU QB
5.11: Jordan Howard, MIA RB
5.12: Will Fuller, HOU WR
5.13: Brandin Cooks, HOU WR
5.14: Deebo Samuel, SF WR
5.15: Tarik Cohen, CHI RB
5.16: Zack Moss, BUF RB

Thoughts: Gallup was a another selection that was pretty comfortably atop the board in a full PPR league, and fantasy owners shouldn’t worry about there being enough target to go around in Dallas.

Round 6

6.01: Russell Wilson, SEA QB
6.02: Marvin Jones, DET WR
6.03: Evan Engram, NYG TE
6.04: Justin Jefferson, MIN WR
6.05: Tyler Higbee, LAR TE
6.06: Diontae Johnson, PIT WR
6.07: J.K. Dobbins, BAL RB
6.08: Kyler Murray, ARI QB
6.09: Matthew Stafford, DET QB
6.10: James White, NE RB
6.11: Hayden Hurst, ATL TE
6.12: Hunter Henry, LAC TE
6.13: Jamison Crowder, NYJ WR
6.14: Christian Kirk, ARI WR
6.15: Jared Cook, NO TE
6.16: Rob Gronkowski, TB TE

Thoughts: Running back is starting to thin out some, but White should have a weekly role in New England’s offense as a checkdown target for Cam Newton; he got a slight edge over Matt Breida.

Round 7

7.01: Matt Ryan, ATL QB
7.02: Tom Brady, TB QB
7.03: Josh Allen, BUF QB
7.04: CeeDee Lamb, DAL WR
7.05: Carson Wentz, PHI QB
7.06: Drew Brees, NO QB
7.07: Matt Breida, MIA RB
7.08: Anthony Miller, CHI WR
7.09: Darrell Henderson, LAR RB
7.10: Sterling Shepard, NYG WR
7.11: Tevin Coleman, SF RB
7.12: Alexander Mattison, MIN RB
7.13: Jared Goff, LAR QB
7.14: Golden Tate, NYG WR
7.15: Ben Roethlisberger, PIT QB
7.16: Antonio Gibson, WAS RB

Thoughts: Runs at both tight end and quarterback led to zero running backs coming off the board since my last pick, so I am able to add Breida after passing on him last round. I feel great about the position for a 16-team league considering I took a quarterback in the second round.

Round 8

8.01: Latavius Murray, NO RB
8.02: Marlon Mack, IND RB
8.03: Preston Williams, MIA WR
8.04: Duke Johnson, HOU RB
8.05: Tony Pollard, DAL RB
8.06: Robby Anderson, CAR WR
8.07: Darius Slayton, NYG WR
8.08: Ke’Shawn Vaughn, TB RB
8.09: DeSean Jackson, PHI WR
8.10: Mecole Hardman, KC WR
8.11: Boston Scott, PHI RB
8.12: John Brown, BUF WR
8.13: Emmanuel Sanders, NO WR
8.14: Jalen Reagor, PHI WR
8.15: Henry Ruggs III, LV WR
8.16: Adrian Peterson, WAS RB

Thoughts: Hardman was going to be my pick Round 7 until Breida was on the board, but he’s still there for me here as I get the three-man Kansas City stack.

Round 9

9.01: Justin Jackson, LAC WR
9.02: Damien Harris, NE RB
9.03: Curtis Samuel, CAR WR
9.04: N’Keal Harry, NE WR
9.05: Nyheim Hines, IND RB
9.06: Steelers, PIT D/ST
9.07: Sammy Watkins, KC WR
9.08: Breshad Perriman, NYJ WR
9.09: Mike Williams, LAC WR
9.10: Jerry Jeudy, DEN WR
9.11: A.J. Dillon, GB RB
9.12: Parris Campbell, IND WR
9.13: Steven Sims, WAS WR
9.14: Joshua Kelley, LAC RB
9.15: Allen Lazard, GB WR
9.16: Sony Michel, NE RB

Thoughts: There are a couple of tight ends that were considered, but adding Watkins to my Kansas City core was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. If Tyreek Hill ever goes down, this team will be tough to beat.

Round  10

10.01: 49ers, SF D/ST
10.02: Chase Edmonds, ARI RB
10.03: Brandon Aiyuk, SF WR
10.04: Ravens, BAL D/ST
10.05: Aaron Rodgers, GB QB
10.06: Noah Fant, DEN TE
10.07: T.J. Hockenson, DET TE
10.08: Jerick McKinnon, SF RB
10.09: Mike Gesicki, MIA TE
10.10: Hunter Renfrow, LV WR
10.11: Carlos Hyde, SEA RB
10.12: Michael Pittman Jr., IND WR
10.13: Dallas Goedert, PHI TE
10.14: Chris Thompson, JAX RB
10.15: Randall Cobb, HOU WR
10.16: Larry Fitzgerald, ARI WR

Thoughts: Well, I won’t have everyone fall to me after passing on them (my target was Noah Fant or Mike Gesicki), but Renfrow is a nice depth piece that can start behind Keenan Allen and Michael Gallup if the Chiefs cancel each other out as standalone options.

Round 11

11.01: Ryquell Armstead, JAX RB
11.02: Darrynton Evans, TEN RB
11.03: Dede Westbrook, JAX WR
11.04: Derrius Guice, WAS RB
11.05: Anthony McFarland Jr., PIT RB
11.06: Mohamed Sanu, NE WR
11.07: Jonnu Smith, TEN TE
11.08: Darrel Williams, KC RB
11.09: Denzel Mims, NYJ WR
11.10: Bills, BUF D/ST
11.11: Patriots, NE D/ST
11.12: Daniel Jones, NYG QB
11.13: Jamaal Williams, GB RB
11.14: Colts, IND D/ST
11.15: Bryce Love, WAS RB
11.16: DeAndre Washington, KC RB

Thoughts: I could have gone with DeAndre Washington as a handcuff for CEH, but the long wait had my lean towards Smith with the hopes he can make a statistical leap in his fourth season.

Round 12

12.01: Bryan Edwards, LV WR
12.02: Laviska Shenault Jr., JAX WR
12.03: Benny Snell, PIT RB
12.04: James Washington, PIT WR
12.05: Broncos, DEN D/ST
12.06: LeSean McCoy, TB RB
12.07: Gus Edwards, BAL RB
12.08: Bears, CHI D/ST
12.09: Blake Jarwin, DAL TE
12.10: Giovani Bernard, CIN RB
12.11: Rex Burkhead, NE RB
12.12: Cam Newton, NE QB
12.13: Saints, NO D/ST
12.14: Baker Mayfield, CLE QB
12.15: Ryan Tannehill, TEN QB
12.16: Jimmy Garoppolo, SF QB

Thoughts: Bernard is certainly worth a flier selection as Joe Mixon suddenly carries some risk without a new contract (while dealing with migraines); the Cincinnati backup would be an immediate RB2 if he ever makes starts.

Round 13

13.01: Tee Higgins, CIN WR
13.02: Alshon Jeffery, PHI WR
13.03: Buccaneers, TB D/ST
13.04: Jalen Richard, LV RB
13.05: Vikings, MIN D/ST
13.06: Austin Hooper, CLE TE
13.07: Jack Doyle, IND TE
13.08: Joe Burrow, CIN QB
13.09: Lamar Miller, NE RB
13.10: Rashaad Penny, SEA RB
13.11: Chris Herndon, NYJ TE
13.12: La’Mical Perine, NYJ RB
13.13: Teddy Bridgewater, CAR QB
13.14: Kirk Cousins, MIN QB
13.15: Gardner Minshew, JAX QB
13.16: Lynn Bowden Jr., LV RB

Thoughts: Doyle is a high-floor option that gets a boost in PPR leagues with Philip Rivers under center, so I like him as a cheap complement to Jonnu Smith’s big-play ability at tight end.

Round 14

14.01: Drew Lock, DEN QB
14.02: Malcolm Brown, LAR RB
14.03: Brian Hill, ATL RB
14.04: Ito Smith, ATL RB
14.05: J.D. McKissic, WAS RB
14.06: Frank Gore, MIA RB
14.07: Dare Ogunbowale, TB RB
14.08: Derek Carr, LV QB
14.09: Dion Lewis, NYG RB
14.10: Antonio Brown, FA WR
14.11: Philip Rivers, IND QB
14.12: Jaylen Samuels, PIT RB
14.13: Devonta Freeman, FA RB
14.14: Royce Freeman, DEN RB
14.15: Trayveon Williams, CIN RB
14.16: Mike Davis, CAR RB

Thoughts: Why not take a flier on Antonio Brown with my final pick? In a 16-team league, he could be a big-time difference-maker in the second half if signed by a contender.

Round 15

15.01: Chargers, LAC D/ST
15.02: Justin Tucker, BAL K
15.03: Cole Beasley, BUF WR
15.04: Eric Ebron, PIT TE
15.05: Chase Claypool, PIT WR
15.06: Danny Amendola, DET WR
15.07: Rams, LAR D/ST
15.08: Cowboys, DAL D/ST
15.09: Russell Gage, ATL WR
15.10: DeeJay Dallas, SEA RB
15.11: Peyton Barber, WAS RB
15.12: Corey Davis, TEN WR
15.13: Tyrell Williams, LV WR
15.14: Taysom Hill, NO QB
15.15: Harrison Butker, KC K
15.16: Ian Thomas, CAR TE

Round 16

16.01: Wil Lutz, NO K
16.02: Chiefs, KC D/ST
16.03: Matt Prater, DET K
16.04: Greg Zuerlein, DAL K
16.05: Robbie Gould, SF K
16.06: Chris Boswell, PIT K
16.07: Matt Gay, TB K
16.08: Zane Gonzalez, ARI K
16.09: Dan Bailey, MIN K
16.10: Jake Elliott, PHI K
16.11: Younghoe Koo, ATL K
16.12: Ka’imi Fairbairn, HOU K
16.13: Jason Myers, SEA K
16.14: Stephen Gostkowski, FA K
16.15: Seahawks, SEA D/ST
16.16: Austin Seibert, CLE K
