Rounds 1-5 Thoughts: Quarterbacks unsurprisingly went off the board with the top five picks, and Anthony Richardson was in consideration to start my draft at No. 6. However, the 25-year-old Justin Jefferson is obviously an awesome asset. From there, some of the non-QB values were standing out, including being able to grab Jahmyr Gibbs in the second round. The first five picks give a fantastic blend of youth and the ability to compete for a title in 2024—if we can get the quarterback situation sorted out.

10.10: DeAndre Hopkins, TEN WR
10.11: Chase Brown, CIN RB
10.12: Zack Moss, CIN RB
Rounds 6-10 Thoughts: Safe QB1/2 option for this year Jared Goff going a few picks earlier made the selection of Bo Nix a bit easier in Round 6. Sean Payton is extremely high on Nix, and we’ll hope for long-term statistical success in Denver—George Pickens was tough to pass on, but I wanted to ensure a QB1 to feel decent about long-term.
After that, with an eye on competing this season, Derrick Henry in Round 7 was the guy to target, followed by a second young quarterback in Bryce Young, an option to be patient with in Nick Chubb (a potential superflex to make up for the lack of top quarterbacks), and Jameson Williams as a high-upside WR3.
Round 11
11.01: Gus Edwards, LAC RB
11.02: Rico Dowdle, DAL RB

15.04: Elijah Moore, CLE WR
15.05: J.K. Dobbins, LAC RB
15.06: Tyrone Tracy Jr., NE RB
15.07: Elijah Mitchell, SF RB
15.08: Javon Baker, NE WR
15.09: Geno Smith, SEA QB
15.10: Jaleel McLaughlin, DEN RB
15.11: Rashid Shaheed, NO WR
15.12: Ezekiel Elliott, DAL RB
Rounds 11-15 Thoughts: I probably shouldn’t have taken Dallas Goedert before young receivers to be honest, but I love how it worked out to basically get the WR options I would have wanted anyway there. Romeo Doubs and Jahan Dotson can ascend to greater heights in Year 3, and Mike Williams is making good progress from his torn ACL. Then Giants rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. is one of the best value picks at running back right now.
Round 16
16.01: Wan’Dale Robinson, NYG WR

17.08: Jalin Hyatt, NYG WR
17.09: Brandin Cooks, DAL WR
17.10: Derek Carr, NO QB
17.11: D’Onta Foreman, CLE RB
17.12: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, KC RB
Round 18

20.05: Evan Hull, IND RB
20.06: Eagles D/ST
20.07: Jordan Mason, SF RB
20.08: Trey Palmer, TB WR
20.09: Michael Carter, ARI RB
20.10: Deuce Vaughn, DAL RB
20.11: Noah Brown, HOU WR
20.12: Jacoby Brissett, NE QB
Rounds 16-20 Thoughts: Missing out on Chris Godwin as a WR3 option earlier was disappointing, but rookie Jalen McMillan is someone to like long-term in Tampa Bay behind Mike Evans and Godwin. Luke McCaffrey is another rookie receiver that can step up and be a fantasy factor with a path to a starting role in Washington. At quarterback, Sam Darnold got the slight edge over Derek Carr and Russell Wilson because of the presence of Jefferson on my roster—hopefully the two can create some 2024 magic. Will Shipley and Jordan Mason are excellent handcuff options.
Round 21
21.01: Zay Jones, ARI WR
21.02: Aidan O’Connell, LV QB
21.03: Chris Rodriguez Jr., WAS RB
21.04: Greg Dortch, ARI WR

22.05: Ja’Tavion Sanders, CAR TE
22.06: Isaiah Davis, NYJ RB
22.07: Trey Lance, DAL QB
22.08: Mac Jones, JAX QB
22.09: Desmond Ridder, ARI QB
22.10: Isaiah Likely, BAL TE
22.11: Rasheen Ali, BAL RB
22.12: Deneric Prince, KC RB
Round 23
23.01: Tre Tucker, LV WR

25.03: Nick Folk, TEN K
25.04: Jake Moody, SF K
25.05: Chiefs D/ST
25.06: Buccaneers D/ST
25.07: Tyler Bass, BUF K
25.08: Patriots D/ST
25.09: Jake Elliott, PHI K
25.10: Jason Sanders, MIA K
25.11: Daniel Carlson, LV K
25.12: Younghoe Koo, ATL K
Rounds 21-25 Thoughts: If DJ Chark Jr. is a top option for Justin Herbert, he can be a steal as a WR3 option this season in Round 21. I decided on Trey Lance as a fourth quarterback to give me someone with rushing upside there. Greg Dulcich just needs to stay healthy to potentially pay off with the Broncos. Brandon Aubrey was fortunately available at this stage following his sensational rookie campaign. And we can mix up the defenses but will start with Todd Bowles’ unit.
