NFL Week 12 Daily Fantasy Football Recommended Lineup Advice (DraftKings, FanDuel)

Hopefully you were able to get some players from the Chiefs-Rams games game in your daily fantasy lineup last week. The Week 12 daily fantasy recommendations include Lamar Jackson for the second consecutive week. There’s less of a selection after Thanksgiving games, but there are still plenty of high-upside options for the week.

QB: Lamar Jackson vs. OAK

DraftKings: $5,700 | FanDuel: $7,400

Despite no touchdowns last week, Lamar Jackson had a solid fantasy showing in his first career NFL start, rushing a whopping 27 times for 117 yards. The former Heisman winner has no issue with running 20-something times if that’s what it takes to win, and he has the elite explosiveness to eventually find a crease for a big gain and potential long score. Oakland has played tough defense since the embarrassing Niners loss a few Thursdays ago, but Jackson is a difficult guy to contain. If Jackson throws the ball more, turnovers could be a concern, but the upside is enormous.

RB: Nick Chubb @ CIN

DraftKings: $6,300 | FanDuel: $7,500

Nick Chubb isn’t ranked as a top-five option on either DraftKings or FanDuel, which doesn’t seem to make much sense. The Bengals have been gashed up the middle by opposing running backs, which is where Chubb excels, with the ability to then also bounce runs outside and use his underrated speed on the second level. Off the bye, the rookie runner should be good for 20+ carries, potentially leading to a 100-yard game with a score or two.

RB: Matt Breida @ TB

DraftKings: $5,700 | FanDuel: $6,400

Perhaps things won’t work out, but finding strong, undervalued running back options this week is not complex: Target good players with excellent matchups. Breida has put up college-like numbers at times this season, he’s had the bye week to probably get as healthy as he’s been all year, and he gets a matchup against a Buccaneers team that’s given up three touchdowns to running backs in two of the past three games.

WR: Antonio Brown @ DEN

DraftKings: $8,700 | FanDuel: $8,500

Odell Beckham Jr. against a reserve-filled Eagles secondary was also in consideration for a top-level wide receiver in the recommended Week 12 daily fantasy lineup, but Antonio Brown offers a better floor despite a more difficult matchup at Denver. Also, many people might shy away from AB, but he’s torched the Broncos secondary back when they were elite, with a 16/189/2 line back in 2015.

WR: Alshon Jeffery vs. NYG

DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $7,200

The Giants are a difficult matchup for wide receivers, but the Eagles had a big game against them earlier this season and should be due for another offensive breakout of sorts after their recent struggles. Jeffery scored twice against the division rival in Week 6, so Carson Wentz is likely to look his way a good amount as the two look to get on the same page after a down few weeks.

WR: Courtland Sutton @ PIT

DraftKings: $4,400 | FanDuel: $5,400

With this lineup, you’ll ideally have Brown go off early with Courtland Sutton and the Broncos having to play from behind. Sutton has offered a nice floor in fantasy lineups all season, but he still hasn’t had a monster breakout game yet. The Steelers have played very well defensively, but Sutton could have a big day if Case Keenum gives him opportunities down the field.

TE: Rob Gronkowski @ NYJ

DraftKings: $5,100 | FanDuel: $6,900

Spending a little extra for Zach Ertz or George Kittle might be worth it for the safety (despite Ertz’s disappointing game last week), but Rob Gronkowski offers the highest touchdown upside of any tight end as he emerges from the bye. If healthy, it’s time for a Gronk Spike—which we shockingly haven’t seen since Week 1.

FLEX: Marlon Mack vs. MIA

DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $7,000

All three recommended running backs have big-play ability in great matchups, and Marlon Mack arguably has the highest upside of any of them for Week 12. In Miami’s last game in Week 10, they gave up 102 yards to Aaron Jones before contact. The Packers have a one of the league’s top offensive lines, but the Colts might be even better. The extra time off could have helped the Dolphins get things fixed, but Mack has top-tier upside at a discount.

D/ST: Bills vs. JAX (DraftKings) | 49ers @ TB (FanDuel)

Bills: $2,700 | 49ers: $3,500

Blake Bortles could suddenly catch fire, but Jaguars-Bills should be a defensive battle where Buffalo’s defense offers a great blend of floor and upside. They are probably the best daily fantasy D/ST option for Week 12 when you consider value. For FanDuel, you can make some lineup tweaks to also use them, but this lineup doesn’t have enough salary. The Niners are also a decent option coming off the bye, as Jameis Winston has thrown an interception in every game this season.
