NFL Week 15 Daily Fantasy Football Recommended Lineup Advice (DraftKings, FanDuel)

There are a few potential shootouts on the Week 15 slate, so it might not be a bad idea to target players from those games. The recommended Week 15 daily fantasy lineup includes four players from the Sunday-afternoon Patriots-Steelers game.

QB: Tom Brady @ PIT

DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $7,900

You might have heard Tom Brady shows up in big games and shows up against the Steelers. In Brady’s career against Pittsburgh (including playoffs), he’s 11-2 with 30 touchdowns and four interceptions. Last season statistically, Brady was just OK with 298 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, so he’s a good bet to toss for more than one score this year. It also helps that TB12 looks to be playing his best football of the season heading into the matchup.

RB: Joe Mixon vs. OAK

DraftKings: $6,100 | FanDuel: $7,800

Last week, the Bengals fed Joe Mixon 31 total touches to help keep the game close against the Chargers. Facing a Raiders team that likely won’t run away with a blowout victory, game flow should be in Mixon’s favor. There’s no reason the Bengals shouldn’t look to give their young workhorse runner another 25+ touches as they look to get a win in what could be Marvin Lewis’ last game coaching at home.

RB: Chris Carson @ SF

DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $6,300

Chris Carson had 98 total yards against the Niners a couple of weeks ago, and Rashaad Penny (knee) looks uncertain to suit up for this Sunday’s rematch. Carson is going to lead the backfield regardless, but he’ll be a better bet to hit 25 touches for the fourth time this season if the first-round rookie is out of the lineup. In a plus matchup with the potential for one of the heaviest workloads of the week, Carson is one of the better daily fantasy values for Week 15.

WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster vs. NE

DraftKings: $8,000 | FanDuel: $7,800

Bill Belichick and the Patriots defense knows how to take away an offense’s top weapons better than anyone, but the Steelers have two elite receivers to keep track of. Antonio Brown might be the one that gets more double-teams this weekend, so Ben Roethlisberger might be looking to JuJu Smith-Schuster to win his one-on-one matchups, even if it’s against top cornerback Stephon Gilmore. JuJu should get 10+ targets in a potential shootout.

WR: Josh Gordon @ PIT

DraftKings: $6,400 | FanDuel: $6,800

Tom Brady hasn’t been forcing the ball to Josh Gordon as much as when he was probably trying to get him comfortable in the offense, but he could be looking the All-Pro receiver’s way a lot this Sunday against the Steelers. Much of it (including 237 yards in one game) came before Gordon was out of the league for a few years, but he has 34 receptions, 550 yards, and two touchdowns in six career games versus Pittsburgh.

WR: Randall Cobb @ CHI

DraftKings: $4,400 | FanDuel: $5,200

Davante Adams called Randall Cobb a “Bear-killer,”which is quite the nickname to live up to (though Cobb himself called the nickname “crazy”). But Cobb has been at his best against the Bears, with 61 receptions, 855 yards, and nine touchdowns in 14 games with a 13-1 record over the NFC North foe. Cobb has at least five targets in every game this season, but he hit Chicago for a 9/142/1 line back in the season-opener and appears to be as healthy as he’s been for months. He’s a good value this week.

TE: Rob Gronkowski @ PIT

DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $6,900

There’s playing well against a team, then there’s complete and utter dominance against a team. Rob Gronkowski against the Steelers falls in the latter, as they are a team in which he’s put up insane video-game-like numbers in six career games: an average of 6.5 receptions, 110.7 yards, and 1.3 touchdowns. His “worst” game was seven receptions for 94 yards. The discount is too good to pass up for an elite option in daily fantasy lineups.

FLEX: Derrick Henry @ NYG

DraftKings: $5,000 | FanDuel: $6,100

Coming off a 238-yard performance last Thursday night, many people might be eager to get Derrick Henry in their lineups this week. It’s a good idea, as the Giants have allowed 1,583 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, and they haven’t been as good since the trade of Damon Harrison to the Lions. They’ve allowed three 40+ runs this season (tied for fifth-most in the league), so Henry has a good chance to pop one if he gets a hole.

D/ST: Falcons @ ARI (DraftKings) | Ravens vs. TB (FanDuel)

Falcons: $2,700 | Ravens: $5,000

There’s downside for a unit dealing with multiple injuries, but there is massive upside for the Falcons against Josh Rosen and the Cardinals. A handful of sacks and a touchdown is a possibility. Meanwhile, there’s more salary left over for FanDuel, so spending on a better defense like the Ravens or Jaguars should be in consideration.
