The final week of the regular season will include many people playing daily fantasy games on DraftKings and FanDuel. The recommended Week 17 lineup includes three top running backs.

 

QB: Jared Goff vs. ARI

DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $7,900

 

Jared Goff threw for 323 yards in the first half against the Cardinals earlier this month, and now he gets them at home in Week 17. Sean McVay and company are going to look to go out firing on a high note after a disappointing season. Goff is an excellent value with overall QB1 upside.

 

RB: Derrick Henry @ HOU

DraftKings: $8,100 | FanDuel: $8,800

 

We’ll see if the week off was enough for Derrick Henry to look like his usual self this Sunday against the Texans, but it helps that the Titans are in a win-and-in scenario, so the workhorse runner should be fed. They are indicating otherwise right now, but Houston may end up resting starters depending on the results of the Kansas City game earlier in the day, and Henry against a backup defense could be scary.

 

RB: Nick Chubb @ CIN

DraftKings: $7,500 | FanDuel: $7,900

 

As first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens looks to lock in his job for 2020, it would be smart to hand Nick Chubb the ball at least 20 times this Sunday at Cincinnati. The Browns are at their best when Chubb is given the ball, and this should not be a game where they fall behind and have to throw the ball around to keep up.

 

WR: Larry Fitzgerald @ LAR

DraftKings: $4,500 | FanDuel: $5,900

 

It’s possible this is the final game in the illustrious career of Larry Fitzgerald, and he’s someone to targets in DFS lineups. The Rams will be without All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey for the matchup, making Arizona’s weapons more appealing. After his first touchdown in over a month last week, Fitz should have the trust of Kyler Murray or Brett Hundley in the red zone.

 

WR: Russell Gage @ TB

DraftKings: $4,400 | FanDuel: $5,300

 

Russell Gage has five receptions in two consecutive weeks, and he had an 8/76 line versus the Buccaneers earlier this season. If the Tampa Bay defense is focused on stopping Julio Jones, Gage could do some damage in lineups.

 

WR: Brandin Cooks vs. ARI

DraftKings: $4,400 | FanDuel: $5,900

 

Tyler Higbee is probably the best stack with Jared Goff, but Brandin Cooks is an upside option if he can hit a big play or two in a potential shootout at home. Cooks made a nice contested touchdown catch last Saturday night against the 49ers.

 

TE: Hunter Henry @ KC

DraftKings: $4,500 | FanDuel: $6,000

 

The aforementioned Tyler Higbee is probably the best tight end value of the week in daily fantasy lineups, but Hunter Henry fits in this lineup at his salary. Henry has been quiet lately, but he was more involved last week and had six receptions in the first game versus the Chiefs.

 

FLEX: Marlon Mack @ JAX

DraftKings: $6,900 | FanDuel: $7,300

 

Last month, Marlon Mack averaged a season-high 7.8 yards per carry on 14 attempts (109 rushing yards) with a touchdown against the Jaguars before leaving early. Jacksonville has not looked good against the run, and Mack could hit the century-mark again to conclude his regular season.

 

D/ST: Falcons @ TB

DraftKings: $3,400 | FanDuel: $4,600

 

A Jameis Winston turnover is a good bet every week, and the Falcons are playing for a head coach (Dan Quinn) that will be with them in 2020, so expect the unit to play hard and set the tone heading into their offseason.
