NFL Week 17 Daily Fantasy Football Recommended Lineup Advice (DraftKings, FanDuel)

Last week’s recommended daily fantasy lineup dominated, and chances are you had a lot of success if you used some of the advice when building your own lineup. We’ll look to keep it going in the final week of the regular season with the recommended Week 17 daily fantasy lineup suggestions.

QB: Nick Foles @ WAS

DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $7,600

Hopefully you used the Nick Foles advice and placed him your Week 16 lineup against a vulnerable Houston secondary, but if not, the Super Bowl LII MVP remains one of the best quarterback values to conclude the regular season. We’ve seen Foles can put up numbers as huge as anyone in the league when he’s on, and the confidence is there—he should remain hot in a must-win game for the Eagles this Sunday. A missed opportunity that should’ve easily been taken advantage of in the daily fantasy lineup last week, stacking Foles with Nelson Agholor could lead to big points.

RB: Chris Carson vs. ARI

DraftKings: $6,500 | FanDuel: $6,400

The Cardinals have given up 23 rushing touchdowns this season (by far the most in the NFL), and the second-most 20-yard-plus runs in the league. Chris Carson has over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns entering Week 17, and he has three straight games with at least 90 yards and a touchdown, along with a touchdown in five of his last six games. He was a great play last week and could be an even better play this week.

RB: Jamaal Williams vs. DET

DraftKings: $6,000 | FanDuel: $6,800

Because of the love for Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams doesn’t seem to get as much as he should in fantasy football circles. The second-year running back is a solid player that can stay on the field all three downs, which is exactly what he’ll do this Sunday against the Lions. 15+ touches should be Williams’ floor, and he has 100-150-yard and double-digit-touchdown upside.

WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster vs. CIN

DraftKings: $8,300 | FanDuel: $7,900

Another strong game for JuJu Smith-Schuster ended poorly with a lost fumble while the Steelers were in field goal range for a potential game-tying kick, but look for the star receiver to bounce back with one of his best games of the season this Sunday against Cincinnati. The target share is always there, and Smith-Schuster is an excellent player that will take advantage of his opportunities.

WR: Robert Woods vs. SF

DraftKings: $6,900 | FanDuel: $7,600

Robert Woods’ floor has been among the best assets in fantasy football this year, and that should continue in the season finale with the Rams needing a win to clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs. As we saw last week with his two touchdowns in Todd Gurley’s absence, Woods is clearly the Rams’ top playmaker if the star running back is out of the lineup. Woods should be good for about 75+ yards, so that’s a good spot to build on for his potential fantasy-point total in Week 17.

WR: Chris Godwin vs. ATL

DraftKings: $4,300 | FanDuel: $5,100

DeSean Jackson apparently wants out of Tampa Bay, which isn’t a surprise and something the Bucs probably want, too. It doesn’t make much sense for the Bucs to play Jackson over Chris Godwin at this point, and the second-year receiver could see a good number of targets with Mike Evans taking a lot of attention away from the rest of the players in the offense. The Falcons have played solid defense lately, but Godwin had a 6/56/1 line against them earlier this year.

TE: Rob Gronkowski vs. NYJ

DraftKings: $5,100 | FanDuel: $5,800

You might want to pass up on Rob Gronkowski and go with a safer option like George Kittle or Travis Kelce at tight end. Gronk has burned many lineups this season, and he has a zero-point floor. However, he appeared to be open at least once for a sizable gain—on a deep corner route where Tom Brady didn’t look his way—last week, so perhaps Brady and the Pats will see that on film and ensure they get the All-Pro tight end the ball when he’s open heading into the postseason.

FLEX: Wendell Smallwood @ WAS (DraftKings) | Melvin Gordon @ DEN (FanDuel)

Smallwood: $3,200 | Gordon: $8,100

In FanDuel, we have enough left over to add bonafide stud Melvin Gordon into the lineup as a FLEX option. The Broncos are vulnerable against running backs through the air, so Gordon should put up decent numbers there even if he can’t get much going on the ground. DraftKings only has enough for a low-priced FLEX option, but Wendell Smallwood could do some damage against the Redskins. Smallwood has done well when he’s gotten enough carries, including his two-touchdown performance against the Rams just two weeks ago.

D/ST: Seahawks vs. ARI

DraftKings: $3,700 | FanDuel: $4,700

CenturyLink Field might be the toughest place to play in the NFL, and rookie quarterback Josh Rosen gets his first taste of it this weekend. The Seahawks haven’t been great defensively this season, but the upside is obviously there for a big outing versus the Cardinals in Week 17.
